Composer: Xiao Lyrics: Yi

Do you know who you are? Do you know that Chinese New Year is like water? Do you know how haggard autumn sounds? Hang up! Hang up! Hang up! Hang up!

Do you know how many sad tears there are in Jiangshan today? Think about it! Yes! Yes! Yes!

Do you know who you are? Do you know that life is like a core? Do you know why autumn flowers are intoxicated? Blow! Blow! Blow! Blow!

Do you know how many kinds of gentle waves there are in the world? Tell me about it! Crispy! Crispy! crisp

This song was first included in a small collection of songs, The Beginning of Music Today, which was published by the Commercial Press 1922+ 10.

In China in the 1920s, warlords fought for years, and foreign imperialism bullied and squeezed them. Some intellectuals with patriotic enthusiasm were deeply moved by the chaotic situation of broken mountains and rivers and the decline of the country. This short song, with implicit language and profound tone, puts forward a series of meaningful and philosophical questions to people, reflecting the patriotic intellectuals' deep anxiety about the motherland where warlords are fighting and mountains and rivers are broken.

This lyric has two paragraphs. In the first paragraph, from the haggard scene brought by the "autumn sound" to the anxiety about the fate of the country at home and abroad. The second paragraph develops from the exploration of life to the infinite feelings about the changes of the world.

The whole song is a single-image paragraph structure, with ups and downs in melody, fluency and uniqueness, and relatively stable mood. After four symmetrical phrases, followed by two sighs falling three degrees, it seems leisurely and subtle. Then, the continuous triplet and upward jump pushed the song to a climax, and then came to an abrupt end with an emotional melody, and put forward the theme of "Do you know how many sad tears there are in Jiangshan today". There is a thoughtful ending at the end of the song, like a philosophical sentiment from an elder who has experienced vicissitudes of life, which is even more memorable and intriguing.
