Reflections on Reading (Part Two)
Ju Hee Song
Zuyechun, chrysanthemum is green.
Last night, the river was full of spring water and the boat was light.
Lai Xiang and Faye Wong were amazed, and Liu Zhong was happy today.
It used to take a lot of effort to push it, but today it can move in the middle of water.
Translation:
Last night, the spring by the river rose sharply. This big ship is as light as a feather. It used to take a lot of effort to push, but today you can drift freely in the middle of the river.
Poetry appreciation:
Last night on the Ross River, the huge warship was as light as a feather. From the poem, the poet said nothing about the spring rain, but between the lines, it can be seen that the spring rain and tributaries merged into a river all night, which made the spring water of the river soar.
Huge ships float on the water like feathers. On the surface, the poet did not directly describe the great potential of water, but it was as light as wool from a huge ship, reflecting the wide rivers and the mighty rivers. These two sentences of the poet's perceptual knowledge also paved the way for the latter two poems.
It used to take a lot of effort to push it, but today it can move in the middle of water. I remember in the dry season, the water was shallow and the boat was big, which took a lot of effort and could not be pushed. Now, the ship is moving freely in the middle of the river, and there is no strength at all. This is the rational sublimation of this poem.
This poem vividly illustrates the importance of external conditions. The ship is in the water, so it is easy to run aground in shallow water and it is difficult to sail. The water depth is buoyant and the water is suitable for navigation. Spring by the River and Free Flowing are mutually causal and vivid.
The poet uses boating as a metaphor, stressing the need to work hard and study hard. When you get home, you can master it freely and skillfully, which is also a new realm of life cultivation.
