Xi Du writer

Xi Du, a poet, was born in 1967. 1985 was admitted to Peking University and now works in a publishing house. He is the author of a collection of poems, Plato in the Snow Scene, etc.

Poet Xi Du writes college entrance examination composition: tolerance

Tolerance is a virtue of human beings, no, it is the most precious consciousness of human beings. Tolerance is the symbol, achievement and cause of civilization.

Every organism is a harmonious and organic organization created by tolerance. Start at the bottom

From primitive creatures to people who are the soul of all things, any creature is "contained" by many different material components and different elements. If an organism wants to maintain its normal operation and exist as a life, it cannot live without "tolerance" for a moment. If the material components that make up this organism "split", only disintegration and death are waiting for this organism. Tolerance is the basic function of life.

This is true for creatures, and so is it for social organizations. Any organization in human society, from family to society and country, can not do without this kind of "tolerance" consciousness. People have different personalities and different views on things. Without this sense of tolerance, everyone has their own opinions, and only quarrels when they meet. Where can we create a harmonious and beautiful life together? Therefore, tolerance is also an indispensable function for the existence and development of social organizations.

From the perspective of human history, "tolerance" is always associated with prosperity, prosperity and progress, and paranoia, arbitrariness and autocracy are always associated with war, misfortune and disaster. "A hundred schools of thought contend" was the academic prosperity in the Warring States period; "Independent Confucianism" is the cultural decline after Liu Han. The Tang dynasty's eclecticism of foreign cultures made the Tang dynasty's brilliant civilization. The seclusion of the Manchu Dynasty before foreign civilization eventually led to poverty and weakness in modern China. Peking University's lofty position in modern academic and cultural history is based on President Cai's "inclusiveness": the ten-year catastrophe is a great success of cultural and academic studies, and its roots are "eight models".

My former neighbor was a middle-aged couple with a child in middle school. This family has always lived in a harmonious and beautiful environment. I often see them walking together talking and laughing. Once upon a time, this harmonious and happy atmosphere disappeared. The couple began to quarrel frequently. When I come home from work, I often sit patiently and enjoy the "War Symphony" next door. The clash of furniture, the shattering of porcelain, the abuse of men, the wailing of women and the sobbing of children are all playing in unison. Later, the man left with the child, leaving only the woman. The whole person has changed. Seeing that gloomy face, I don't cry or laugh, as if I were stupid, which is heartbreaking. This is an example of family disintegration due to lack of "tolerance".

Humans are far from learning to be tolerant. "9. 1 1" and the subsequent wars in Afghanistan and Iraq ... these unfortunate facts constantly remind us how far humanity is from learning to be "inclusive". In other words, we are far less "smart" than lower creatures.

However, in order to live in harmony and create a better world, we must become smart and really learn to be tolerant.

So, how can we cultivate the consciousness of "tolerance"?

In the final analysis, tolerance is rooted in love and understanding. Only when there is love in the heart can we treat others with sympathy and fully respect their positions and opinions. Only love can eliminate mutual hostility, suspicion and misunderstanding, and let people of different nationalities, countries and cultures live in harmony in this world. The desolation and disappearance of love will make the closest people hurt each other, hate each other and even turn against each other, just like my neighbor's house.

Author's Note: This composition was written on the orders of the editor. To be honest, I think this topic is too difficult, especially for students. This is a big topic of governing the country and leveling the world. World leaders still can't do it well. How do students write? This composition took me nearly an hour and a half. I wonder if I can pass the exam. If you are in the examination room, you don't know what you will write. I think, if I take the college entrance examination now, I may not be able to enter the university. Although, I was admitted to Peking University with an absolute high score. In other words, what we have tested is only useful for the exam. If you pass the exam, you can throw it aside, and you must throw it aside. Take composition as an example. College entrance examination composition questions are often not to test students' writing ability, but to deliberately make things difficult for students. I took the college entrance examination 0/9 years ago. But for such a fateful exam, I have no impression at all of the composition questions at that time. It can be seen that the topic is so unpleasant to me.

I only selected a few of his poems. If you are interested, can you have a look at /lilc/go.asp here? id= 1890

postscript

The first episode (note: this trip takes up one side)

About deer

-Here you are

The century I know when God hunted.

The horse rushed away with an arrow.

Followed by a bumper harvest.

Waving a spear

The horse galloped on the Oklahoma prairie.

Through my bleeding palm, you can see

A deer, in the snow near the glacier.

Get down slowly

The hunters laughed.

Put the gun on your shoulder.

Drop by drop

Slide down a rock.

Guava flower opens the injured window.

This deer

The window of this murdered virgin

On polar nights, at Eskimo weddings.

In the cold bell
