The Change of Hometown 2020 featured five essays on the theme of hometown.

Not only is my hometown changing, but my motherland is also changing with each passing day. Today, I compiled a composition about the changes in my hometown for you. Welcome to learn from it. Let's have a look!

Changes in hometown: 1

When I was a child, I often heard adults tell me that the world is constantly changing, and everything around you will not remain the same for life. At that time, I didn't quite understand, just curious why everything would change, even beyond recognition. It's like a face change in a movie.

After a few years, I have been sensible and seem to know a little. Everything is developing, just like time keeps passing. Although the development is fast and slow, it will all become different from before. This is the magic of development, and it is also the driving force for their continuous development.

When I grow up, I look at the people and things coming and going around me, and the environment is constantly changing, so to fully understand the importance of development, take Hangzhou as an example. No, I'm afraid I can't talk about the changes in Hangzhou for days and nights. Let's narrow it down a little and talk about Wen 'er Road, which is neither long nor short.

My elders told me that about twenty years ago, there were not so many houses there, mostly farmland and cemeteries, which were very desolate. Although I didn't see it with my own eyes, I can probably imagine the situation at that time.

I have lived in that area since I was a child. When I was a primary school student, I often went there because my school was near my home. At that time, although the road was much better than before, it was only an alley at best. When the wind blows, the dust is flying, and the eyes are foggy, but when it rains, it is not much better. If you travel there, you must wash your shoes, because the ground is like a thick layer of mud.

For about ten years, Wen Er Road has completely changed. Like a grown-up child, it is showing its charm. Although it is not as good as the listed center, it is also very similar. The shops on the roadside opened, and then they were renovated again and again, and the road widened. Cars come and go on it, extending in all directions. This is not the old Wen 'er Road. It represents the most significant change in the new century and represents that Hangzhou is moving towards a higher level.

Happiness lies in change.

Changes in Hometown: Chapter II

My hometown is beautiful and poor and backward. My home is in a ravine hundreds of miles from the city. Before I went to high school, I never walked out of the arms of the mountains. To tell the truth, I have never been very concerned about the development or change of my hometown. I didn't have this kind of consciousness before I went to high school, and I didn't have time to care after I went to high school. Even more than two years ago, I went to college in a foreign country thousands of miles away, and I didn't care. Because the economic development speed of my hometown is too disappointing compared with the cities in the Pearl River Delta, it is sad to mention it.

However, to talk about the changes in my hometown, I think it may be a simple and superficial summary: more money makes people "lazy"; The building is high and the water is dirty.

It seems that the spring breeze of reform didn't reach our remote mountain village until the late 1980s. Before that, villagers, men, women and children, worked hard to dig in the soil. It's just that our beloved land didn't give us much in return. There is not much other income in the village except farming. Many people are capable and hard-working, but there is no place to show their skills. In the last years of the 1980s, the villagers no longer counted on that land. I heard that there were gold miners in the city outside the mountain, and they went out one after another. Young people, middle-aged, skilled and unskilled all want to go out and pick up some gold. They walked for about a year, and when they came back, although they were not covered with gold and silver, they were always more than those dug out of the soil. So I went out after resting at home for more than ten or twenty days. Most of the people left in the village are old people and children. By the mid-1990s, even teenagers couldn't sit still in the classroom, and many of them got on the train to work in the south. There is less rural labor force, and the land that was hard to reclaim land before is covered with weeds in a few years. In recent years, paddy fields have dried up, farming is too hard, and the family has money. Who wants it? In the past, just a few days after the Spring Festival, there were busy figures in the fields and corners. It seems a shame to go to the fields before the Lantern Festival. Rural women who stay at home will get together to play cards every once in a while during the slack season, which is something they never dared to think about before! Go out to meet the morning dew on a sunny day and go home with starlight. Rainy days come and go in the wind, and there are few rest days all year round.

In recent years, buildings in the village have mushroomed from all corners. Three floors and four floors, some of which are beautifully decorated. Even if it's only one floor, it's not a building. After all, it looks much more pleasing to the eye than those mud brick houses. Not to mention the interior decoration, the floor tiles are smooth enough to show the figure, and the gorgeous wallpaper … is simply sticking money on the wall and spreading it on the ground. Even if it is only painted with white lime, it looks much brighter, and it is no longer as dark and depressing as a mud brick house.

But what makes people uncomfortable is that the water in the stream is getting dirty. I couldn't afford tap water before, and the water used by the villagers was taken from the stream that passed through the village. The first thing the villagers do when they get up in the morning is to fill their big water tanks with water for a day. When we were young, we often swam in the stream. Sometimes when I am thirsty, I drink water in the stream. Don't talk about cooking in the stream now, just wash the vegetables and bring them back to the home tap water once or twice. Seeing this dirty water in summer, we no longer have the impulse to jump. The sight of fish swimming in the water is out of sight now. There are all kinds of rubbish everywhere in the stream. Some plastic bags have long changed color, but they just won't melt. The villagers are used to dumping all the rubbish into the stream, thinking that the stream will take away what they don't need. Or pile it in the open space in front of the door and light a fire when it is piled up, so that the garbage will go up in smoke when talking and laughing.

It can be predicted that the life of villagers will be better and better, money will be more and more, and buildings will be higher and higher. Will people become more and more "lazy"? But will the water get dirty? The laziness of the villagers is unacceptable to the older generation. But it also shows that life is getting better! It is the descendants of hometown who benefit. The water is getting dirtier and dirtier, and even the children in the village have long been used to it. Aren't they also victims?

Changes in Hometown: Chapter III

Since the reform and opening up, our quality of life has been continuously improved, and science and technology have become more and more developed. Most people's awareness of environmental protection is gradually fading, but they don't know what the future earth will look like if this continues! I remember my parents took me to Huzhaigou. I wanted to catch some small fish and crabs in the stream there ... but who knows, the stream there is muddy and there are no small fish. The grass is full of plastic bags and scraps of paper; Big trees are carved by people who go there with knives; Some people went there for a picnic, and the garbage left behind was not cleaned up, making the land dirty and smelly. Listen to mom and dad: Huzhaigou used to be a very beautiful place. Beautiful scenery, crystal clear stream, from time to time you will see small fish, shrimp and crabs swimming freely in the water, which is very vivid and lovely; Next to the clear stream are green grasslands and towering trees. The environment is very clean and beautiful. However, such great changes in Huzhaigou are not all caused by us. Sewage discharged from factories built by human beings flows into streams, making them turbid; Some people throw rubbish into streams or lawns when they go to Huzhaigou, and some people even carve words on trees with knives and trample on lawns. My suggestions are: first, call on everyone to care for the environment, let everyone consciously protect the environment, and then put trash cans by the stream, and have special cleaners to clean up the garbage in time; Set up notice boards to prohibit people from throwing garbage into streams, trampling on lawns and engraving on trees.

I believe that by enhancing our environmental awareness, our living environment will be improved!

Changes in Hometown: Chapter 4

Reform means leap, opening up indicates prosperity, bathed in the spring breeze of reform, but in just a few years, people's living standards have undergone earth-shaking changes. My hometown is no exception.

In the past, my hometown was just a small village. There are bungalows everywhere, mostly tile houses. It was windy and rainy, and the water entered the house lightly, but the house collapsed. This is the road. There is mud and potholes everywhere. Sunny, dusty, everyone covers their nose and mouth; On rainy days, as long as you pass a car, you will be splashed with mud. It's really "muddy in sunny days and muddy in rainy days!" Both sides of the road are deserted, with few shops and single goods. At that time, people were wearing patched clothes. According to the words at that time, it was: "New three years, old three years, sewing and mending again and again." Even shoes are made with their dexterous hands, including straw sandals and cloth shoes. ...

A few years later, when I set foot on this land again, I was shocked by the scenery before me! The crumbling old house has been replaced by a small villa. The muddy old road has long since disappeared. On the wide asphalt road, the traffic is endless, and the roads are lined with trees and people come and go. The goods in shopping malls and farmers' markets are dazzling. As long as you walk into a family at will, all kinds of household appliances are available, and many people have mobile phones, cars and computers! Every year is a new look, every year is a new look!

My hometown has changed so much! I love my hometown! I believe my hometown will be more prosperous!

Changes in Hometown: Chapter 5

Say goodbye for three years, and see my hometown again, and my heart is full of faint nostalgia. A place must be different from this place two or three years ago, right? My hometown now is very different from my hometown three years ago.

My hometown is in a village. You must want to say, "adobe house, rice, small dirt road …" Yes, this is what my hometown looked like three years ago. It's a mud house where everyone lives. It's short and monotonous in color. Every family cooks with firewood. Poultry droppings are everywhere As long as you are not careful, you will leave smelly dirt on your shoes. There is only one road in the village for several cars to enter and exit.

But now, every family has running water, cooking with natural gas stoves and providing hot water with water heaters. The house is also very different. Many families have built villas with bright colors and bright interiors. There are color TV, refrigerator, wife, electric heating table ... everything. Every house is clean, and poultry manure is removed in time. "To get rich, build roads first" is an unchanging creed. There are already many roads in my hometown, which makes many families get on the bus and facilitates the transportation in other places. Every family has a sense of environmental protection, and trees are planted in front of every family, which is beautiful and purifies the air, killing two birds with one stone.

The country's good policies have brought about these good changes in our hometown, made the country rich and strong, rejuvenated the nation, and made China strong without foreign intrusion. Look at our current China: China high-speed rail-the world's leading, catching up with the Japanese Shinkansen; Hybrid technology between super rice and other crops-super rice is the fifth item invented by China in the world; Construction technology of giant hydropower station. The Three Gorges Project built in China represents the highest level of hydropower technology in the world. ...

There are indications that the government of China is leading the people towards prosperity, the country towards prosperity and China towards prosperity. I believe that one day, China will stand on the top of the world nation.
