On the way to being demoted, Li Bai suddenly heard of Amnesty and wrote a poem on the boat. What is this poem?

Zaofa baidicheng

At dawn, I left the White King City which stood in colorful clouds.

Down the river again, a thousand miles a day to Jiangling.

The screams of monkeys on both sides of the strait

The canoe has crossed Chung Shan Man.

Creation background

In the spring of the second year of Gan Yuan, Tang Suzong (AD 759), Li Bai was exiled by the emperor because of the Li Lin case in Wang Yong. When Li Bai went to Baidicheng via Sichuan, he suddenly received a pardon letter from the emperor. Li Bai was pleasantly surprised and immediately rowed the boat to Jiangling. So the title of this poem is also called Xiajiangling. This poem describes the author's joy and carefree mood at that time.
