Ji Kang (223-262): A native of Luoxian County (southwest of Suzhou County) in the Three Kingdoms period, he was a famous thinker, writer and musician in the Wei and Jin Dynasties, and was the first outstanding "Seven Sages of Bamboo Forest". Advocate Laozi and Zhuangzi, stress the way of health preservation and diet. Good at drum set, calligraphy and painting. Philosophically, he believes that "the spirit of Tao is the essence of all beings", puts forward the theory that "the more famous the religion, the more natural it is", advocates returning to nature, and hates all kinds of artificial cumbersome ethics of Confucianism. Politically, it is hard-hearted and hateful. He was framed by Zhong Hui and killed by Si Mazhao. Before the execution, he played Guangling San and died calmly. Ji Kang is a representative writer of Zhengshi Literature, whose style is sharp, pungent and free and easy. He worked hard all his life, and his poems have a high position in the history of ancient China literature. Ruan Ji was a writer and thinker in the Three Kingdoms Wei Dynasty. Word heir, Liu Chenwei (now Henan) people. His father Ruan Yu is one of the seven famous sons of Jian 'an. At that time, he and Ji Kang were called one of the seven sages of bamboo forest.

In the sixth year of Jiaping (AD 254), Sima Shi abolished Wei Dibing and established Cao Taizu. In the year of Ganlu (AD 260), Si Mazhao killed Cao Mao and established Cao Huan. After his death, his son Sima Yan proclaimed himself emperor on behalf of Wei and established the Jin Dynasty. Ruan Ji is in the political whirlpool of fierce struggle between Sima Shi and Cao Shi. In order to save himself, he had to be careful, empty and deal with it.
