(A) not from the body (Luo Jiu l- 13)
God's salvation in Christ is so rich and profound, but why can't all people get it? Especially the Jews have not all been blessed? For this reason, Paul's conscience was moved by the Holy Spirit, and his heart was deeply hurt. In order to save his own flesh and blood Israel, he was willing to be cursed and separated from Christ. This is related to Moses' prayer (for example. 32). In order to be forgiven for the sins of Israel, he is willing to be removed from the book of life. They really have the great love of the Lord and sacrifice their own spirit, and are willing to give up their greatest and most eternal blessings in exchange for the eternal interests of all, which is unmatched by any human being.
The Israelites have the birthright, glory, covenants, laws, rituals and promises of the Son. According to the flesh, Christ also came out of them. Have you lost all the advantages of Israel? No, because not all people born in Israel are Israeli, and those born in the flesh are not children of God. Only those who are born of promises like Isaac are considered descendants. For another example, although Esau and Jacob are twins, God chose Jacob instead of Esau, regardless of human behavior.
(2) Sovereignty lies in God (Luo. 9 14-29)
It depends on the absolute sovereignty of God. He will have mercy on the people he wants and be kind to the people he wants. Don't care about firmness and running, only care about the merciful God, even if it makes Pharaoh hard. Because of God's absolute sovereignty and freedom; He can decide everything. He is the master of the universe, and he created everything. He can treat others as he pleases, just as a Potter treats clay. He has the right to make a stone into a valuable vessel or another stone into a humble vessel. However, what God has done is not unfair. He tried to destroy a container through a lot of patience and tolerance, and was destroyed because of their hatred and anger, but those containers prepared for glory were pitiful. But human obedience and self-purification also play a role (Jer. 18: 4; Timothy 2: 20-2 1), because whoever God wants to have mercy on will have mercy on him. If a person crustily speaks to God, he can't get mercy, but if he is willing to humble himself and ask God for mercy, he can still get mercy (Ps. 123-2; Lk. 18 13), both Jews and Gentiles can receive mercy, but all this is out of the grace of God.
(3) not to behavior (Rom. 9: 30-33)
God does not favor Jews and then Gentiles, but they are saved by God through faith. Jews seek the righteousness of the law, but they cannot seek it by deeds, while foreigners know that they are unworthy and can only seek it by faith, and they get the righteousness that comes from faith. For Jews, this is a question of faith or unbelief. If you don't believe, you will fall; But he who trusts in the Lord will not be put to shame.
Chapter 10: People's Trust
(1) Summary of laws (Luo× L-8)
Israel pursues the righteousness of the law, and if it wants to establish its own righteousness, it refuses to obey the righteousness of God, but no one can be justified before God by doing the law (Romans. 3.20). Therefore, if you pursue the righteousness of the law, you will not get the righteousness of the law. But the conclusion of the law is Christ, which makes all who believe in him righteous. The law is only a prophecy of Christ and is fulfilled in Christ. Christ has come, and through preaching, people will gain the righteousness from Christ, that is, the righteousness of God, through faith.
(2) call on the name of the Lord (ROM. 10 9- 15)
If a man confesses with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believes in his heart that God raised him from the dead, he will be saved. Faith, identification and further concrete expression are calling, because whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, and whoever refuses to call on the Lord cannot be saved. However, before people can listen and believe, they must be sent to inherit the Tao, so preachers are also very needed. Because faith comes from hearing the word, and hearing the word comes from the word of Christ.
(3) Some people don't believe it (Luo X 16-2 1)
Although the gospel of the Lord has spread, it has even spread all over the world to the ends of the earth. Many people listened and believed, but not all of them listened to the gospel. Although this first reached the Israelites, they rebelled, rejected and killed Christ and his apostles (Acts 3: 26,10: 36; The first two posts are 15- 16).
The Bible is inspired by God and is a classic of Judaism and Christianity. Originally in Hebrew, kethubhim originally meant "article" and later "classic"; Greek Graphai, Latin Scripturoe, Chinese translation Jing.
The Bible is a classic belief of Jews and Europeans. It tells the history of Jews in ancient times and records the prophecies of prophets. [1] When a large number of Jewish classics are translated into Greek, the Greek tabilia (plural, meaning "books") is used to refer to these classics. Latin comes from the singular word Biblia, which later became the proper name of the official classics of Judaism and Christianity, and translated into Chinese is the "Bible".
The Bible is a fairly thick book, with pages similar to those of a dictionary, but in fact it is not just a book, but a set of 66 books. There are long and short; There are ancient works and more modern works, including: history, poetry, philosophy, and even private letters and lectures. [2]
The official classic of Judaism consists of five volumes of Torah, eight volumes of Prophet and six volumes of Holy Book 1 1, so it is commonly known as Tanach (composed of the initials of Torah, Nevim and Katuweim), also known as the "Twenty-four Books".
Christian classics, including the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Jewish Bible, the Old Testament, is inherited from Judaism. The volume and order of this book are slightly different among Christian factions. The New Testament is a Christian classic, which consists of 27 volumes, including the gospels that record the life, words and deeds of Jesus, the Acts that describe the situation of the early church, and the letters and revelations written by the apostles. There are 39 volumes in the Old Testament and 27 volumes in the New Testament.
