Why do we need modern poetry and poets?

I have read a book about poetry, Standards and Guidelines, and I have questioned poetry, but that was when the poet was discussing whether "pure poetry" existed. The past decade has been a decade of increasingly decadent poetry; It is also a decade in which Han Han has become increasingly popular. Han Han's denial of poetry and his questioning of the literary world all reflect the lack of humanistic spirit of young people in our time.

It is true that most poems are expressed by beautiful artistic conception, exquisite sentence breaks, gorgeous rhetoric and profound thoughts. But not all poems are decadent, and they are all "excuses for the chaos and listlessness of life". Poetry in my mind is an accurate expression of inner free thoughts, so accurate that there is no heart and heart to convey emotions through the media. Poetry is a look when lovers express their love, not a sweet word given to each other; Poetry is the cry of soldiers in the dark when they long for freedom, not a lengthy "freedom declaration"; Poetry is not a delicate portrait of the scenery, but a bold wonder when you appreciate the scenery.

A true poet is full of love and curiosity. Poets don't need standards, let alone shrines. Your so-called poets are all "famous poets" full of utilitarianism. Everyone can be a poet.

Zhao Lihua's A Man Came to Tennessee is the most criticized: without a doubt, my pie is the best in the world. It's poetry A man came to Tennessee in a foreign land to be his favorite hometown pie and feel homesick. Not only a poem, but also a good poem!

I write my mouth by hand, and I write my heart by poem. As long as your works express the heartfelt feelings and aspirations, they are valuable. Of course, not everyone is a master of writing, so not all poets have masterpieces. But everyone has the right to write poems and call himself a poet. Zhao Lihua can, yes, so can you!

Someone spoofed Zhao's poem and said, "As long as an ordinary sentence is wrapped up, it is a poem!" And wrote "I also became a poet": You are by far the most influential woman/poet/because you made me a poet. I think this is really ridiculous. Presumably, on the one hand, these people regard poetry as sacred, as if ordinary people cannot touch anything; Secondly, poetry is too stylized. It seems that only those who have a certain rhythm and structure can be called poetry. "I also became a poet" obviously has no feelings, four words-penniless.

It is not surprising that ordinary people have misread poetry so far. However, it is disappointing that Han Han, a post-80s writer, has such a superficial understanding of poetry. People who write lyrics are enough, and modern poets are not needed. This is obviously a contempt for the poet and a disrespect for the lyricist. An excellent lyricist, his works come from his inner creation and are widely sung, of course, poetry. It is quite naive to separate the lyricist from the poet.

Poets have advantages and disadvantages, and their works are equal, but the poet's spirit is not high or low. Freedom, equality and fraternity are the essence of poetry. Criticism is necessary for poems that are in a state of great waste. However, it is useless to slander or advocate poetry. Poets are ignorant because they have no need to exist.
