Writer is a profession in a beautiful world|Author Xie Kaiming|

Based on my more than 30 years of writing experience, I first think that being a writer is a profession in the beautiful world. The duty of a writer is to make life wonderful, to believe in the beauty of life and the meaning of life. In this world, if you want to not waste every second of your life, only writers can do it. Most people sleep to rest and chatting is a waste of time, but a writer will not waste any time in his life, no matter with others. A casual chat, a dream while sleeping, or even a blink of an eye or a move of the brow can be turned into articles and economic wealth through the writer's creation. Writers make the scattered and meaningless things in life beautiful and meaningful through creation, so that people can love life and people more and make the world more beautiful.

2. Writers are people who catch ghosts and sell them for money. Jia Pingwa said, "A writer's writing is to restore the soul of a dried cow to its original appearance." My experience is that writers are people who catch ghosts and sell them for money. We all know that writers are called spiritual workers, which means that to become a writer, you must be not only a "god" but also a "jing". What do jing and shen do? Of course it's the devil's business. Behind people is the shadow, behind the shadow is the soul, behind the soul is the spirit, behind the spirit is the ghost, behind the ghost is the spirit, and after the spirit is the god. See if there is a good soul in this place. If there is, capture it, wait for a price, and sell it to people to cheer up. If there are evil ghosts and demons in this place, the writer will also capture them and hand them over to Judge Yama to collect them, so that they will not commit evil in the world and disturb the public order and good customs of society. For example, the writer Qiong Yao visited the Old Summer Palace and saw a tomb named Huan Zhu Ge Ge. There was a ghost living in the tomb, so she captured her and created the novel and TV series "Huan Zhu Ge Ge", which sold for thousands Thousands of royalties.

3. The mainstreaming of literature is a false proposition. Real literature has never been mainstream. Mencius has never been mainstream, Qu Yuan has not been mainstream, and Cao Xueqin's "A Dream of Red Mansions" has never been mainstream. There was a special era when literature became mainstream for a while, but in the end, it was one's own shit that one had to eat, which made it smelly and dirty to society.

4. Writers do not need to care about whether people are originally good or evil. In the eyes of the writer, it is the living environment and growth background that determine whether a person is good or evil. A good person may become bad because of the deterioration of the living environment, and a bad person may become good because of the improvement of the living environment. Therefore, when writers write, they need to write about the background, explain clearly the character’s life and growth background, and describe the character’s personality traits.

5. Literature generally praises the poor and criticizes the rich. Why? In Mo Yan’s words: Human society is noisy, chaotic, feasting, and sensual. It seems extremely complicated, but if you think about it seriously, it is just the pursuit of wealth by the poor, and the pursuit of pleasure and excitement by the rich. Although the ancients set a moral example for us of being pure in desire, living in poverty and enjoying the good life, they had little effect. Human desires are black holes that cannot be filled. The poor have the desires of the poor, and the rich have the desires of the rich. People chase fame and wealth, like mosquitoes for blood, and like flies for odor, which has led to countless tragedies from ancient times to the present, and of course countless comedies. Literature, as an art form that reflects social life, will of course regard this issue as the most important material for its own research and description. Most writers love wealth and pursue fame, but literature criticizes the rich and praises the poor. Of course, the rich people criticized in literature are those who are unkind for the sake of getting rich or who got rich through unfair means. The poor people praised in literature are also poor people who are poor but do not lose their personal dignity. There are also some literary works that give their kind-hearted protagonists a happy ending that is rich and noble, which affirms the value of wealth in a positive way.

6. A writer should hold a pen in one hand and a knife in the other. The most important thing for a writer is to have something to say and something to say. You write down what you want to say, and it becomes an article. Writers have no right to complain about life. Because life is the writer's teacher, we can't complain about anyone but the teacher. Even if life is a fierce tiger, a writer must have the courage to knock it down, drink the tiger's blood, eat the tiger's meat, strengthen his body and bones, and develop the heroism of a writer. A writer has to act like a writer. I love watching war movies, especially stories about Mao Zedong and his generation commanding wars. I have great admiration for those Red Army soldiers back then. They carried the red flag and rushed to the top of the mountain without asking any conditions. At the commander's order, they carried the red flag and rushed forward, and they would not stop until the blood was shed. I think a writer should have a little bit of this kind of warrior spirit, bleed when necessary, and sacrifice when necessary. I really appreciate a poem by Mi Fu, the great calligrapher of the Song Dynasty: "Ink is a shield and a pen is a sword; wielding a brush and sword is a hero." "Ink shield, pen and knife" is my "motto". I think a writer should hold a pen in one hand and a knife in the other. Use a pen when you need to use a pen, and use a knife where you need to use a knife. Only in this way can you, as Lu Xun said, "Create a way out of the thorny bushes where there is no road." A writer should be a warrior in life, a warrior who overcomes all obstacles.

7. Writers must grasp the big and small, light and heavy, hard and soft aspects of literature.

When writing novels, use addition; when writing poetry, use subtraction; when writing official documents, use Luban's craftsmanship, cutting according to the ink line, and don't use more to express; when writing TV movies, don't write too full text, and leave enough space for the expression of the picture; When writing press releases, you must wear your political hat properly, and never wear it crookedly; when writing prose essays, you must express your feelings and have something to say; when writing biographical literature: write about big things about small people, and write about big things about big people; when writing historical literature : Follow the creative principle of being true in big things and informal in small things; if you see everything in the world clearly and understand it, write it as a paper; if you see it clearly but can't understand it, write it as a novel. As for the theory of literary creation, we still have to look at it, but this theory is of little use to writers. There is only one real teacher for writers, and that is social life. Life is the only source of creation. There is only one thing a writer has to do, and that is to have something to say, say it well, and record it in words so that others can read and accept it.

Our great Simao poet Mr. Feng Zuhe’s poem “The Yellow River Rolls with Inkstone Waves” has a good grasp of the big and small, light and heavy, hard and soft aspects of literature. When he was grinding ink, he saw the ink stirring on the inkstone. He thought of the Yellow River, so he wrote "The Yellow River is rolling with inkstone waves." When he was grinding ink, he was thinking of Mount Tai: "Slowly grind Mount Tai as the ink grinder." Mount Tai is just a piece of ink written by the poet, what a great tool. When he picked up the brush, he thought of Mount Everest. Mount Everest is the tip of the poet's pen. When the poet unfolded the rice paper, he thought of the entire blue sky, "How much can be written in the blue sky." The poet uses inkstone, ink, pen and paper to show the magnificence of the Yellow River, Mount Tai, Mount Everest and the blue sky. Through this poem, we can see more clearly the big and small, light and heavy, hard and soft of literature.
