Li Bai's life journey.

The foot of my bed is shining so brightly/will it have frosted? . /Looking up, I found it was moonlight/sinking again, and I suddenly remembered home. This song "Thinking about a Quiet Night" is immersed in Li Bai's homesickness, but where is Li Bai's hometown? It's been over a thousand years. Recently, Jiangyou in Sichuan, Anlu in Hubei, Tianshui in Gansu and tokmak in Kyrgyzstan have claimed to be the hometown of Li Bai, igniting the battle for Li Bai's hometown. Especially in Jiangyou and Anlu, the local government went shirtless, and the dispute over the hometown of celebrities rose to the official level, which is extremely rare in China.

Li Bai, a poet in the eyes of the public, was poor before his death. This talented poet, who likes to travel around, left Sichuan in his youth and began his life journey of "serving the country with a sword, leaving his relatives behind and traveling far away" on the land of China. He sailed out of the Three Gorges along the Yangtze River and went to a strange place, leaving many stories.

When Li Bai was 4 years old, he moved with his father to Qinglian Township (now jiangyou city, Sichuan) in Changlong County, Mianzhou, Sichuan Province, where he spent 20 years and received enlightenment education. On the occasion of the first year of Jing Yun (7 10), Li Bai began to read historical records of various philosophers and received a preliminary education. At the age of fifteen, Li Bai began to learn fencing, and then learned vertical and horizontal techniques. It can be seen that Li Bai's education is not as simple as that of ordinary literati. He not only reads and writes articles, but also keeps fit. Li Bai reads a hundred books and doesn't do chapters and sentences. He didn't carve chapters and make sentences like the Confucian scholars at that time, but relied on a talent in his chest. He doesn't study poetry exegesis either, but he is a bit like Zhuge Liang, who likes reading and doesn't want to know much.

In the eighth year of Kaiyuan, Su Ting, the minister of rites, became the secretariat of Yizhou. At the age of 20, Li Bai came to visit with his own poems and was highly praised by Su Ting. Afterwards, Su Ting commented on Li Bai to his friends. "This son is a genius, Yingli. He never stops writing. Although the wind is not successful, see the bone of the car. I have learned a lot and can compare with each other. " In other words, Li Bai is young and has a set of writing skills. Although I haven't formed my own fixed style, as long as I continue to study and read more books, I can compete with Sima Xiangru in the future.

However, although the Chengdu Plain is thousands of miles away, it is difficult to keep the heart of a generation of literary giant Li Bai. In the thirteenth year of Kaiyuan, Li Bai went out to Shu, so-called "bringing a sword to serve the country and leaving relatives to travel far away". He sailed out of the Three Gorges along the Yangtze River and went to a strange place, leaving many stories.

Travel around with a sword

The first famous city that Li Bai came to by boat was Jiangling, where he had a wonderful experience. Sima Cheng Town was a famous Taoist priest in the Kaiyuan and Tianbao periods of the Tang Dynasty, and was also the twelfth head of the Taoist Shangqing School. Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty once asked Sima Cheng to enter the DPRK to collate the Tao Te Ching, which shows his social status at that time.

Li Bai met Sima Cheng Town while traveling in Jiangling. Sima Cheng Town fell in love with Li Bai's extraordinary qualifications at the first sight. After reading Li Bai's poems, I was even more amazed, leaving a comment that "there is a sage's wind, and you can wander at will." In Sima Cheng's view, Li Bai is not only outstanding in appearance, but also excellent in writing. He is so talented, but he doesn't stick to the secular Rong Lu officials. This talent is something he has never encountered in decades, so Sima used Taoist words to describe Li Bai, which is similar to how he praised Li Bai as "a fallen fairy."

Sima Chengzhen is not only proficient in Taoism, but also good at calligraphy, especially seal script. His poems are elegant in style and exude immortal temperament. Li Bai was favored by him, and he learned a lot and benefited a lot in both aspects.

From Jiangling South to Yueyang, we arrived at Dongting Lake. Li Bai went boating here for several days. Unfortunately, Wu Zhidao, a good friend who traveled with him from Sichuan, died of sudden illness. Li Bai was heartbroken and wept beside his friend. He was so sad that passers-by couldn't help crying. In desperation, Li Bai had to bury his friend beside Dongting Lake and continue to travel eastward. Li Bai wrote the famous "Looking at Lushan Waterfall" in Lushan Mountain. All the way eastbound, Li Bai came to Jinling. This is the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties, with magnificent mountains and rivers, which makes people swallow mountains and rivers. However, the ancient capital has aroused Li Bai's feelings about reality. He believes that although Jinling is an ancient capital, it is a thing of the past, and the decline now is not as prosperous as Chang' an. When he left Jinling, Li Bai was deeply depressed.

Then, Li Bai traveled to Yangzhou. After getting sick in Huainan, he went to Gusu, where Fu Cha, the king of Wu, and Shi sang day and night. Li Bai felt this and wrote an epic poem "Wuqi Qu", which was later praised by He. At this time, Li Bai's interest in wandering gradually weakened. He remembered that his friend Wu Guide was still buried in Dongting Lake, so he returned all the way and moved his friend's bones to Jiangxia. In Xiangyang, not far from Jiangxia, Li Bai visited the poet Meng Haoran and wrote a famous five-character poem with a message to Meng Haoran.

Originally, Li Bai's sword fighting trip would continue, but at this time Li Bai came to Anlu alone and lived in a Taoist temple in Xiaoshou Mountain. Waiting for him, will be a period of muddled years.

Between Chu and Han, teenagers were down and out.

Li Bai lived in Anlu, Hubei Province for a period of time when he was a teenager, which is why Anlu now calls himself "Li Bai's hometown". However, Li Bai was very unhappy at this time, and the real life he came into contact with was far from his ideal of coming to Anlu.

Sima Xiangru, a gifted scholar in the Western Han Dynasty, is a fellow countryman of Li Bai, whose romance makes Li Bai appreciate it even if it is separated by 900 years. In Sima Xiangru's articles, he once praised the magnificence of Chu. He said that the lakes in Chu are dotted with spectacular scenery. As it happens, Li Bai has been traveling around the world since he left Sichuan at the age of 25. Attracted by Sima Xiangru's articles, he came to Anlu, Hubei.

Li Bai's stay in Anlu also brought his talent. Soon, the news that Li Bai came to Anlu spread like wildfire, spreading more and more. Finally, the news reached the ears of former Prime Minister Xu. Because I cherish Li Bai's talent, I promised my granddaughter to marry Li Bai and make Li Bai my granddaughter. Later, they had two children, the eldest daughter named Pingyang, the second boy named Bochen, and the baby named Yue Ming Nu.

This is Li Bai's first marriage, which should have been very happy, but even if it is as wild as Li Bai, it can't escape the shadow of "adoption". In ancient China, a man who went to be someone else's door-to-door son-in-law was regarded as an alien and had a low social status. The word "redundant" originally meant "redundant". When it comes to women's homes, that means men are lazy and useless.

Then, why is Li Bai, who is good-looking (more than seven feet tall, about 1.83 meters today) and talented, willing to be someone else's son-in-law? The biggest reason is that Li Bai always has a desire to be an official. From the early Tang Dynasty to the years, the Xu family in Anlufu was once prominent. Li Bai hopes to enter the political arena by relying on the political capital of his wife's family.

However, times have changed. At this time when Li Bai was alive, the strength of Anlu Xu's family was not as good as before. There is no official in the DPRK, which makes it difficult for Li Bai to be an official. At most, he is a local strongman, which provides Li Bai with a comfortable life. Li Bai has been running around as a "Xu's daughter-in-law" all the year round, intending to make friends with powerful people and cling to high branches, but things are unpredictable and can only be called helplessness.

At the end of Tang Kaiyuan, Mrs. Xu died unfortunately, which was another blow to Li Bai. When Mrs. Xu was here, Li Bai was running around, and there were people at home with children. When Mrs. Xu left, the children were left unattended, so Li Bai had to return to Anlu. At ordinary times, other people's gossip turned into public accusations at this moment. Li Bai, the son-in-law who comes to you, is not doing well in officialdom, and the space in Anlu is getting smaller and smaller.

After spending 10 years in Anlu, Li Bai finally moved to Shandong with his two children. When he came here, it was only because he heard the call of Sima Xiangru that he came here to enjoy the miracle of Chu. Unexpectedly, 10 only brought the notoriety of "adoption" and the frustration of officialdom. No wonder Li Bai summed up his life in Anlu for 10 years with "ten years wasted in wine storage".

Chang 'an, Er Ru

In Li Bai's life, he had two opportunities to be an official in the DPRK. The first time happened in the 23rd year of Kaiyuan. Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty hunted, and Li Bai presented "Da Hunting Fu", hoping to get the appreciation of the emperor. After coming to Chang 'an, Li Bai lived at the foot of Zhong Nanshan, making friends and waiting for opportunities. He met Zhang Weiwei Qing for the first time and gave a poem to Princess Yu Zhen through him. In his poems, Li Bai described his predicament, hoping to be introduced and serve the imperial court. During this period, Li Bai also met He and presented his own poems. He Zhangzhi admired Li Bai's talents, especially Shu Daonan and Wu Qiqu, so he invited Li Bai to drink. During the dinner, He was deeply moved by Li Bai's magnificent poems and elegant manners and became an unforgettable friend.

Li Bai stayed in Chang 'an for a year, but nothing came of it. This is Li Bai's first visit to Beijing. He holds the ideal of making achievements, but he has accomplished nothing. He only left Chang 'an in the sigh of "It's hard to go, come back".

At the age of 42, Li Bai was summoned to Beijing by Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty on the recommendation of his good friend Yuan Danqiu. At this time, Li Bai was appointed as a city in Shandong. Li Bai was ecstatic when he first heard the news, thinking that his political ambition for many years could finally be realized, so he wrote, "Go out with a smile, are we from Penglai?" With two children, he ran in a hurry and only walked a thousand miles 10 days.

However, at this time, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty was no longer the emperor who made great efforts. The purpose of calling Li Bai to Beijing is just to make him a senior writer for the imperial family, write articles for him and whitewash the peace. Li Bai, who first entered Chang 'an, was indeed treated with courtesy by Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty. The emperor stepped down to meet him and came down to meet him in person. He also gave him a Qibao bed and personally made soup for Li Bai to drink.

It wasn't long before Li Bai discovered that Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty only gave himself special treatment and didn't entrust him with an important task. From then on, Li Bai began to show boredom. "Wandering around, you will get drunk if you drink too much." He knew that this was intolerable to the court, so he wrote in Tianbao for three years, demanding "repayment of money". Li Bai, 45, left the capital Chang 'an sadly.

die of illness

But for that belief, Li Bai would not have come to Dangtu.

In the fourteenth year of Tianbao, the Anshi Rebellion broke out, and Li Bai, who lives in Lushan Mountain, wanted to make a contribution to the country. Li Lin, Emperor Yongli, is traveling east at this time, and Li Bai is invited to be Li Lin's staff. After entering the backstage, Li Bai actively advised Li Phosphorus, but Li Phosphorus had limited talent and was finally defeated by the rebels on the battlefield. Li Bai was also found guilty and exiled Yelang.

Li Bai was sentenced to a long stream, which means that it will never return. Passing through Wushan coincided with the drought in Guanzhong, so the court announced an Amnesty for the world, stipulating that the deceased would be pardoned if he drifted, so Li Bai regained his freedom. He immediately went down the river, stayed in Jiangxia for a while, and then revisited Xuancheng and Jinling. Back in Jinling, Li Bai saw not only the decline of the ancient city, but also his heart seemed to die with him. When I was a teenager, I wanted to contribute my talents to the court, but in the end I was convicted of it, both sick and old.

At this time, Li Bai was in his early sixties. In Jinling, his life is already quite difficult, so he has to go to his uncle Li, who is the county magistrate of dangtu county. In the third year of Shangyuan (762), Li Bai was seriously ill. On his deathbed, he gave his manuscript of poetry to Li, and he died after writing The Last Song. The poet who has been running for his destiny all his life has finally ushered in his moment of rest.
