knight-errant

Qianqi

Zhao and Yan, two chivalrous men who are more generous and sad, today we gather in the hometown of chivalrous men to dream of Luoyang.

Tragic things tell you not to end, but the sun is setting and you have to break up again.

Qian Qi (about 720-782) was born in Xing Wu (now Huzhou, Zhejiang). In the tenth year of Tianbao (75 1), Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty was promoted to a scholar, and was awarded the secretary of provincial studies. He successively served as the commander of Lantian County, Yuan Wailang, Si Feng Langzhong and Kao Gong Langzhong. Ranked first among the top ten talented people in Dali. Sikuquanshu contains ten volumes of Qian Zhongshu's collected works, and Quantang Poetry contains four volumes of his poems.

A chivalrous man is a chivalrous man, referring to a person who relies on his own strength, dares to act boldly and helps others at the expense of others. Historical Records Biography of Rangers says that they "keep their words, keep their words, be sincere in their promises, do not love their bodies, and go to the realm of scholars", and there are also many places worthy of recognition. The poet and the chivalrous man met by chance, talked very speculatively, and left a distinct and deep impression, so he wrote this poem.

The first sentence explains the identity and characteristics of chivalrous men. Yan and Zhao were two vassal states in the Warring States Period. Yan is in the north of Hebei and the south of Liaoning. Zhao is now in the north of Shanxi and southwest of Hebei. "Zhao Yan" refers to the above areas. Tang Hanyu's Preface to seeing Dong Shaonan off said that "Zhao Yan is called a mourner". The most typical example is Jing Ke who stabbed the king of Qin to death. The prince sent him to Yishui. Before leaving, Gao Jianli hit the building, and Jing Ke sang: "The wind is rustling and the water is cold, and the strong man is gone forever!" After singing, I drove away without looking back. Reminiscent of these historical facts will make people respect the chivalrous.

The second sentence is that the meeting place is at the paladin's house. Meng was a famous chivalrous man in the Western Han Dynasty. According to Records of the Historian Biography of Rangers, he is from Luoyang. When his mother died, he drove to the funeral, showing his great appeal. Emperor Wu Chu of the Han Dynasty and seven other countries rebelled. In autumn, Zhou Yafu went to Henan and got a scene. He said excitedly: "Wu and Chu rebelled, and it was useless. I know there is nothing they can do. " "Meng Jia" is called the home of chivalrous men here.

The poet and the chivalrous man chatted speculatively, and time passed unconsciously. "Inch heart" is the heart. Three sentences mean that although the heart is not big, there are too many words in my heart to finish. The four sentences used "the sun will set" to reflect the long-term speculative conversation between the two, which made the poet who was busy with his journey forget all the time and had to break up until the sun set. The poet did not hesitate to delay the trip and talked with the chivalrous man, which shows that the poet also appreciated the lofty sentiments and loyalty of the chivalrous man.

The first two sentences of this poem are very apt. First, the location of the chivalrous man is in Luoyang, and these two allusions come from the land of Zhao Yan and Luoyang, which makes it feel natural to read. Secondly, the protagonists of these two allusions are the objects of people's sympathy and praise, so the use of these two allusions can fully express the poet's praise for the chivalrous man. Thirdly, the connotations of these two allusions are very rich, which can arouse readers' generous and sad feelings, thus expanding the connotation of poetry.
