Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day poems

The ancient poems of the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day are as follows:

1. "Guizi on the Night of August 15th in Tianzhu Temple" Tang·Pi Rixiu

Jade Shanshan Next Moon In the wheel, a new dew was found in front of the palace. So far, there is no such thing as happening in heaven. It should be thrown to people by Chang'e.

Appreciation: This poem is not as desolate, withered, melancholy or sad as other poems describing the Mid-Autumn Festival. Contacting the background of the poem, we can know that the poet was a Jinshi in high school the year before and was traveling eastward at this time. It was also when the poet was in high spirits, so the whole poem was naturally relaxed and without any worries. A large part of the poem is the poet's association, which is not realistic, but it does not make people feel empty.

2. "Mid-Autumn Moon" by Yan Shu, Song Dynasty

Ten frost shadows turn around the courtyard, and this evening, people are alone in the corner. Su'e may not be without regrets, but the jade toad is cold and the sweet-scented osmanthus is lonely.

Appreciation: The whole poem is well-organized from scene to emotion, from near to far. The poem expresses the meaning of "don't hate" in a subtle and tortuous way. It is obviously the poet's melancholy and resentment, but it is said that Fairy Chang'e is feeling sorry for herself in the cold moon palace.

3. "No Moon on Mid-Autumn Night" Tang Dynasty - Luo Yin

The clouds are empty at dusk, but the clear light of this evening has been broken. I'm afraid that after the Ji Ji is released, the moon will still raise toads.

Appreciation: This is a famous allegorical poem. The poet lamented the astronomical phenomenon that the toad's shadow prevents the moon from ever being truly bright, and reluctantly expressed his despair for world peace.

4. "Mid-Autumn Festival" Sikong Picture of the Tang Dynasty

Outside the leisurely singing of the autumn scenery, everything feels leisurely. If there is no moon this night, the year will be in vain.

Appreciation: The moon is full in the Mid-Autumn Festival, and love is deep thousands of miles away. Behind this seemingly "moonless" poem, it actually triggers our affectionate reverie about "there is a moon".

5. "Remembering My Brother on a Moonlit Night" by Du Fu of the Tang Dynasty

The drums cut off the line of people, and there is a sound of wild geese in the autumn. The dew is white tonight, and the moon is bright in my hometown. All my brothers are scattered, and I have no family to ask about life and death. The letter sent was not delivered, but the troops were not suspended.

Appreciation: The whole poem is well-organized, with echoes from beginning to end, smooth transitions, and rigorous structure. "The army has not ceased" means "people's journey is cut off", looking at the moon means "remembering my brother-in-law", "having no home" means "sending letters failed to arrive", people "scattered" means "death and life" are unknown, one sentence is changed and one sentence is complete.

During the Anshi Rebellion, Du Fu was displaced and experienced hardships. He was worried about his family and the national crisis. He was really emotional. At the slightest touch, thousands of thoughts flowed out from the bottom of the pen, so the common theme of homesickness and family longing was written in such a sad and depressing way.
