Rain at Night is a five-character quatrain written by Bai Juyi, a poet in the Tang Dynasty. The first two sentences of this poem, written before the heavy rain, are unique natural phenomena: crickets sing intermittently, frequently adding sultry heat; Then there was a breeze, which made the lights in the room flickering; The last two sentences of the poem directly describe the night rain from the perspective of hearing. I heard the sound of banana through the window and knew that the night rain was coming.

Poetry is neat, vivid and interesting. This poem was written in the 10th year of Yuanhe (8 15). At this time, the poet was demoted to Jiangzhou Sima. On a quiet rainy night, the poet wrote this poem.
Bai Juyi (772~846), whose name was Letian, was named Xiangshan layman in his later years. In the 16th year of Zhenyuan (800), he was a scholar, Yuanhe, and Doctor Zuo Zanshan. Later, due to the above requirements, the murderer who stabbed Prime Minister Wu was arrested, which offended the dignitaries and was demoted to Jiangzhou Sima, and later the official went to the minister of punishments.
In literature, he advocated that "articles should be written in time, and songs and poems should be written for things", and he was an advocate of the New Yuefu Movement. His poems are easy to understand. It is said that his poems should be understood by old women. Also known as "Bai Yuan" with Yuan Zhen, Liu Yuxi created the style of relying on sound to write lyrics in the middle Tang Dynasty.
