Qu Yuan's ten most famous poems are: Li Sao, Nine Songs of National Mourning, Fisherman, Lady of Nine Songs, Four Beauties, Buju, Ode to an Orange and Mourning Poems. According to relevant public records, Qu Yuan (about 340-278 BC) was born in Zigui (now Yichang, Hubei), a poet and politician in the Warring States Period, a descendant of Qu Xian, a son of Xiong Tong and a doctor of Chu.
