Gu Long wrote more than 70 martial arts novels in his life, and 100 many fake books were ghostwritten and impersonated. After Gu Long's death, there were copyright disputes in his works, and there were many lawsuits between relatives, friends and publishers, which affected the spread of Gu Long's works. Now, Zheng Xiaolong, the eldest son of Gu Long, and Xiong, the third son, have made peace, expecting to reproduce the prosperity of Gu Long's novels. Gu Long's novels weaken the role of martial arts in martial arts novels, and express the restriction of martial arts skill, power and responsibility of using martial arts.
Gu Long's writing style has been changing all the time, from the early Biography of the Hero with the Banner and the Romantic Style of the Sword to the mid-term Beauty and Chu Liuxiang, and then to the late Tianya Dao and meteor butterfly sword, creating a martial arts school. As a writer, this is a breakthrough and pursuit.
