Know a little programming or no programming at all, just use office directly. Copy all the poems you want to count into this document and use Ctrl+F to search for the words you want to count. The number of words you want to count will be in the upper left corner. Note that the version I am using is office2010. Other versions need to be verified.
The more advanced method is to use programming to count the number of occurrences of all fonts at once, but it is somewhat technically difficult.
