Summer in the mountain pavilion
Tang gaopian
Green trees, deep shadows, long summer, the reflection of the tower in the pond.
The crystal curtains are blowing gently, and the roses are fragrant.
translate
Trees cover the sky and shade everywhere, and the days are long in summer. The shadow of the balcony reflects the pond, just like the beauty in the mirror.
The breeze is blowing gently, and the water waves are rippling like crystal curtains. Full of roses, gorgeous and dazzling, the yard has long been filled with fragrance.

The first sentence seems dull, but the actual usage of the word "Yin" is not only the lush trees, but also implies that the sun is like fire around noon in summer, so the word "Yin" can be "thick". "The balcony is reflected in the pond." Here, the poet visually wrote down the summer and the scenery. The word "into the pool" is well used. He not only writes clear and fresh, but also writes about movement. He writes about ponds, so that the mountains and rivers can accommodate the hearts of pavilions and make the ponds bigger.
"The crystal curtain moves, and the breeze rises" is the most subtle sentence in the poem, which vividly describes the scene that the breeze blows the pool water. The last sentence describes summer from the perspective of smell and describes the fragrance of roses.
