Li Bai’s free and uninhibited poems

Li Bai’s free and uninhibited poems are as follows:

1. If you don’t see it, the water of the Yellow River will come up from the sky and rush to the sea never to return. ——"The Wine Will Come in"

"The Wine Will Come in" was originally a tune of a Han Yuefu short flute and cymbal song. The title means "Song to Encourage Drinking", and its content is mostly about singing and drinking. This poem was written when the poet and his friend Cen Xun were guests at the Yingyang Mountain residence of Yuan Danqiu, another old friend of Songshan Mountain. The author was experiencing setbacks in his official career, so he used wine to write poems and express himself heartily. In this poem, Li Bai "used the topic to express his feelings", drank to relieve his sorrow, lamented that life is easy to grow old, and expressed his feelings of not being able to appreciate his talents.

2. The roc rises with the wind in one day and soars ninety thousand miles. ——"Shang Li Yong"

The whole poem opens with a passionate and high-key tone, and the first four sentences are all compared to "Dapeng". The image of "Dapeng" often appears in Li Bai's works. Dapeng is the divine bird in "Zhuangzi·Xiaoyaoyou". It is said that this divine bird is so big that "it is unknown how many thousands of miles it is" and "its wings are like clouds hanging from the sky". When its wings flap, the water is three thousand miles away, soaring upward. It can be as high as ninety thousand miles.

3. The autumn wind is clear, the autumn moon is bright, the fallen leaves gather and disperse, and the jackdaws roost again. ——"Autumn Wind Ci"

On late autumn nights, the ancients saw the bright moon hanging high in the sky and the jackdaws perched on the trees that had lost their leaves. Perhaps at this time the poet was missing someone. The old lovers, this situation, can't help but make the poet sad and helpless. The inseparable love and longing in his heart make the poet regret their original acquaintance.
