Rabindranath Tagore was born into a wealthy aristocratic family in Calcutta. Tagore's poems enjoy an epic status in India. His representative works include Gitanjali, Crescent Moon, The Last Poem, Four People, Family and the World, Birds, Sand in the Eyes, Gardener and so on.

Tagore's poems are used in the national anthems of India and Bangladesh. Among them, the national anthem of India is "The Will of the People" and the national anthem of Bangladesh is "Golden Bangladesh".
His prose poem "Golden Flower" was selected as the Chinese textbook of the first-year education edition, the poem "Paper Boat" was selected as the Chinese textbook of the compulsory education curriculum standard experimental textbook edition of the first semester (200 1 National Primary and Secondary School Textbook Examination and Approval Committee), and the short story "Jinxiang Hua Mu" was selected as the Chinese textbook of the third grade primary school. The other shore and occupation in New Moon Collection were also selected into the fifth grade textbook of Beijing Normal University.
