1. Lyric prose. The "beautiful prose" depicting landscapes in vernacular Chinese is the best and most beautiful chapter in Zhu Ziqing's prose. In Zhu Ziqing's works, readers can feel the charm of mountains and rivers in detail. For example, Wenzhou Trail (Part II) is green and describes the waterfalls in plum rain pool. He used "the skirt of a young woman" and "the softness and tenderness of an egg white" to describe the softness of the waterfall. Then, the color contrast is written: Populus davidiana in Shichahai, Beijing, the green wall of Tiger Running Spring in Hangzhou, the water of Qinhuai River in West Lake and so on. Everything is neither strong nor light, only the green of Meiyu Pool is just right. In Qinhuai River under the Shadow of Paddle Sound and Light, the author expresses his unique feelings in a tortuous way. In the gurgling sound of oars, "Qiban" set off and entered the night scene like a "dream". What you see and hear is handy, and a colorful beauty is outlined. Moonlight on the Lotus Pond begins with a trip to the lotus pond by moonlight with a feeling of anxiety. The author writes the graceful charm of the lotus pond with vivid metaphors, and the beauty of the lotus with pearls and blue stars. The quiet lotus pond dispelled the author's melancholy. The text of Back is simple and plain, but it only tells the scene of a father saying goodbye to his son, but it captures unspeakable details, injects deep affection for his old father, and touches the hearts of millions of readers in Qian Qian in later generations.
2. Narrative prose. "White Man-God's Favorite" was written in the first-class carriage of the tram in his own country. Humiliation, anger and urgent national thoughts born from the fierce eyes of western children. The executive yuan massacre (foreign language edition) is a historical record from the perspective of a witness of the March 18th massacre, and A Ship of Civilization sharply satirizes the feudal forces of "men and women sitting separately". Children tells a happy family with a snail's shell on its back, revealing the bitterness of life.
3. Argumentative essay. This is the characteristic of Zhu Ziqing's later works, including "taste both refined and popular" and "standard and measurement". The words are neat, concise, rigorous and clear, and sometimes original. Reading Zhu Ziqing's prose is better than feeling. His literary activities began with the creation of new poetry, and the emotional characteristics of poetry naturally influenced his prose. His prose describes the world, expresses feelings with people, writes feelings on the spot, melts feelings into the scenery, or melts feelings into reason, conveys feelings through reason, and pays attention to the word "feelings" regardless of narrative, scenery description and lyricism. The "emotion" in Zhu Ziqing's prose has rich aesthetic connotation, either simple or rich; Or solemn and serious, or humorous; Either melancholy or positive. His spiritual world, cultural upbringing, social concept and aesthetic character are all embodied in the word "emotion". The most touching thing about Zhu Ziqing's prose is his sincerity and realism, without any pretense or exaggeration. A short essay "The Back" touched several generations of readers because of its sincere and simple feelings.
