Genre refers to the writing technique and expression of poetry, such as quatrains, metrical poems and Yuefu.
The quatrains are also called "truncated sentences", that is to say, poems composed of two antithetical sentences are intercepted from metrical poems, and they are very strict with meter and rhyme. There are four sentences, five sentences and seven sentences.
Yuefu, on the other hand, is an ancient poem, the rhythm is not as strict as quatrains, and there is no limit to the number of words and sentences in each sentence.
