This poem was written by Liu Yuxi, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, when he returned to Luoyang in the winter of the second year of Jing Zong (826) and passed through Yangzhou to meet Bai Juyi, who also returned to Luoyang after the rebellion in Suzhou. The couplet poem "Sinking Boat" suddenly appeared.
