On Classical English Poetry: Appearance: Screen

Liz Waldner

The moth opened her mouth and lied.

Like a faded old beech leaf,

The inclination between the window frame and the window sill.

Its death protects some smaller deaths.

And other dirt below.

Although the white paint has water stains,

On it, death is dirty and unfortunate.

Tiger lily that has just been cut off

I hope it is drinking a glass of water.

This hope is very slim.

This hope is grim.

What you destroy will destroy you.

So you want to be loved.

I mean, I like it.

The underside of the ladybug

Wandering outside the window. I wander

Mainland, my carriage is not obvious,

So in my opinion, walking is more dangerous.

But I'm just me; It seems clear to you.

I'm going to disappear. I'm mean

Projecting my fears on you.

If I were a bug, I hope I'm not.

This huge winged thing, slender as a crane fly,

Skinny legs like me, kissing the cold ceiling,

Touch each other's faces, search.

It came in with me when I turned on the light last night.

I lay awake, afraid that it would touch my face.

It wants to go out. I also want to quit.

I thought you had a way through.

Open your arms and spread your wings,

Your pain is as intertwined as mine.

Screen. Your unbelief drives me,

Suspected dirt, white sheets are windowsills-

You are not quiet enough.

Enough to be compared to.

On English Classical Poetry: Stand by and Watch, May

David St. John

When the comfort of angels is named,

When the wind blows into the college,

When the first sunshine in winter

Scribbled their way on black paper.

The bed under the skylight,

When my past algebra was repeated,

They stayed drunk until late at night,

When the lemon peel is twisted

On the edge of the porcelain dish,

When the door closed behind me,

When high heels stand at attention

The moment I stepped on the subway,

When my future looks bleak,

Stand by and watch me

no matter

The light changes along the coast,

No matter what color my hair is,

No matter what tattoo I beg for

Fighting in a bar for no reason,

Whatever the earrings on the dresser are,

No matter how my body moves relative to yours.

Break your own rainbow,

Anyway,

Stand by and watch me;

If some innocent misanthrope unties me,

From my new suede shoes,

If many travelers inside me

Leave together, or if who is the most

Rude & Solly came back to you alone,

If I put so much effort into every word I say,

Hanging in the ashes,

If there are any consequences,

Stand by and watch me;

After the music

Come out of my bones,

After my famous shuffle decreased.

Except for the white marks.

Shoes on the sidewalk,

The serial number is 1, 2&; three ...

Leave me alone after the Legato,

After a long applause on the third day,

After the newscaster impressed me deeply.

The ephemeral nature of all earthly fame,

After my cosmetics started to look like

The sacred mark in the shadow of Keliger lamp,

After the night before.

You decided it really wasn't.

Worth it,

Stand by and watch me;

Because of my conscience.

That's enough,

Because you remember that I believe.

No matter what I believe,

Because no matter which one is already late.

The country, the heart or the clock we consult,

Because the outfield is moving,

Because even a woman in Pirelli

The calendar looks terrible,

Because everyone has to forgive others,

Because I miss you. This is very important,

Because no one wears dressing gowns.

Very well, just stand by me, please;

Stand by and watch me

About Classic English Poetry: Honeymoon

Dorian loucks

We didn't, unless you count Paris,

Twenty years later, after we almost gave up the idea.

We imagined that in the long night,

A warm sky; He grew a beard,

I was wearing a blue-green silk robe, floating and rolling,

Looking for a whole piece of sand on a deserted beach,

Jellyfish washed up on the shore, their shiny internal organs

Visible, still beating in the body made of glass,

But it never happened. We must overcome difficulties.

Our holiday, the house is refinanced, find someone.

Cut down the cedar that threatened to bury us.

With every storm. We want to make up.

For the wedding, or the lack of one, granite.

On the steps of the court, in the room with a table,

This thin document is covered with a cheap gold seal.

Even though we were going to have a party on the deck then,

Cheese and biscuits, fruit bowls, bubbles.

Cider in a plastic cup, our friend on the lawn.

Call you a big shot, call me Mrs. Explosive,

I call you my lovely dragon, and you call me.

Your little red cruiser. Instead, time has found a way.

Ask for every minute until one night,

After you received a large windfall,

You turned to me and said, I'm taking you to Paris,

I'm wearing a shabby nightgown and soft slippers. What about you?

Wearing flannel pajamas and black wife-beating shoes,

Turn off the remote control when I say "what"

Say it again. Then we got there,

When I was in my 60 s, standing under the terrible Eiffel Tower,

We can't climb the stairs on the 8 1 floor.

It's 73 thousand tons of scrap iron, you

Taking pictures for future generations, I

Kiss you under the arched tree,

Our voices echoed among six million skulls.

Embedded in the stone parking lot, I

Say, I guess you're not kidding, you

Holding my hand in the rain.
