What does it mean to worry about the bright moon going to the west with the wind and night?

I heard that you were demoted as a captain of Longbiao when the catkins fell and the rules crowed, and the remote place of Longbiao had to pass through Wuxi.

I put my sad thoughts on the bright and warm moon, hoping it can accompany you to Yelangxi with the wind.

The source of this poem is "I heard that Wang Changling moved from left to Longbiao Kiln", and the author is Li Bai.

Original text:

After the easy autumn, cuckoo clock, I heard you pass five streams.

I entrust my sad thoughts to the moon, hoping to accompany you to the west of Yelang.

Precautions:

Wang Changling: A poet in the Tang Dynasty, was demoted to Longbiao County Order during Tianbao period.

Move to the left: demote an official, demote. The ancients respected right more than left, so demotion was called moving left.

Longbiao: an ancient place name, located in this county in the Tang Dynasty, belongs to Wuzhou, and is now located in Hongjiang, Hunan.

Falling Flowers in Yangzhou: A work "Falling Flowers in Yangzhou". Yang Shuhua, catkin.

Sub-rules: cuckoo, also known as cuckoo, is said to moan and even weep for blood.

Dragon Label: The poem refers to Wang Changling. The ancients often called a person by the name of the state or county where he was an official.

Five streams: First, Xiong Xi, Manxi, Wuxi, Youxi and Chenxi are collectively located in the east of Guizhou and the west of Hunan. What the five streams refer to is still controversial.

And: here.

With the Wind: A Work of "Chasing the King"

Yelang: In the Han Dynasty, southwest ethnic minorities established political power in western and northern Guizhou, northeastern Yunnan and parts of southern Sichuan, which was called Yelang in history. Yelang County was established in Tongzi, Guizhou and Yuanling, Hunan in the Tang Dynasty. This refers to Yelang in Hunan. Li Bai was in the southeast, so he said, "Go with the wind until Yelang goes west."

Creative background:

This poem was written in the eighth year of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty (749) and the twelfth year of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty (753). At that time, Wang Changling was demoted from Jiangningcheng to the county commandant of Longbiao (now Hongjiang, Hunan). Wang Changling was deeply moved by Long Biao in A Biography of Literature and Art in the New Tang Dynasty because he was "careless", that is to say, he offended an official and demoted him, not because there was any big problem, but because of his disorderly life. When leaving Xin Qiji in Furong Building, Wang Changling also said to his good friend: "Luoyang's relatives and friends are like asking each other, and a piece of ice is in the jade pot." That is to say, Bao Zhao's innocence is expressed by the metaphor of "as clear as a jade pot and ice" in "The Ballad of the White Head". After hearing the unfortunate experience of Wang Changling being demoted to Yangzhou, Li Bai wrote this poem full of sympathy and care and gave it to him from afar.

Appreciate:

This poem was written by Li Bai for his friend Wang Changling's demotion, to express his anger and comfort, and also to express his regret and sympathy for Wang Changling's lack of talent. The first sentence describes the depression when spring is fading, and renders the environment gloomy and sad. The second sentence is a description of Wang Changling's "left shift" to his post, which shows Li Bai's concern and sympathy for his poetry friends. Three or four sentences are sent to the scene to sincerely encourage and comfort poetry friends. The whole poem chooses images such as flowers, rules, bright moon and wind. Weaving a hazy dream with strange imagination. Although it does not trace back to the past scenes and friendship with friends, it expresses friendship sincerely and touching through the description of the scenery.
