"Martial arts style" refers to the poetic style of Yao He, a poet in the late Tang Dynasty, which is famous for its distinctive style, meticulous wording and skill of comparing and rejuvenating.
Yao He's poems are mostly about personal daily life and natural scenery, and he is good at five laws and deliberately seeks work. His masterpiece is the five-character poem Thirty Works of Wugong County. The poetic style is unique, concise and profound, and expresses his unique feelings. Known as the "martial arts style" by later generations, it had an important influence on the Jianghu School and Yongjia Four Spirits in the Song Dynasty.
