Stars in Spring Water (Note: Stars in Spring Water is two collections of poems, one is called Stars, the other is called Spring Water, which was later merged into one book). In Bing Xin's own words, these two collections of poems are just a collection of "fragmentary ideas" into one collection of poems. These two books of poetry are the natural brewing of Bing Xin's life, feelings and thoughts, and enjoy a high reputation at home and abroad. The themes of his poems are: praise for maternal love and innocence, worship and praise for nature, and thinking and understanding of life.
The contents of "stars" and "spring water" are "thoughts and memories anytime and anywhere" written by poets at ordinary times. Later, inspired by Tagore's Birds, she felt that there were poetic factors in her little miscellaneous feelings in a few words, and she sorted them out and became two small poems. At that time, Bing Xin probably didn't expect that the publication of her two meaningful and philosophical poems would touch the heartstrings of so many young people who had been silent for a long time, so under her influence, the new poems since the May 4th Movement entered an era of popular poetry.
