Ode to Red Plum is a patriotic song written by Yan Su and composed by Yang Ming, Jiang Chunyang and Kym, and it is also the theme song of the opera Jiang Jie.
Creation background
1964, Yan Su wrote a theme song for the opera "Jiang Jie", and Yan Su wrote the words: "Sail the Yangtze River, even though it is stormy ..." Liu Yalou felt dissatisfied, so Yan Su took out a piece of manuscript paper from his pocket and said: "This is a lyric that comrades of Shanghai Conservatory of Music asked me to write. The original intention is to write plum blossoms. I named it "Red Plum Zan". Look at it. Everyone agreed at first sight, so Ode to Hongmei became the theme song of Jiang Jie.
The song Ode to Hongmei has been revised for more than twenty times. Yang Ming, one of the composers, first wrote the prototype of the theme melody "Red Plum Blossoms on Red Rock", which inspired Jinsha. On this basis, he joined the singing method of "Jiang Nanan Spring" and formed a relatively complete theme song of "Hongmeizan".
