What is lake poets?

a new poetry group was established in Hangzhou in April, 1922. Its main representatives are Wang Jingzhi, Pan Mohua, Ying Xiuren and Feng Xuefeng. In April of the same year, their poetry collection Lakeside was published, hence the name "lake poets". They write lyric poems, but the most influential ones are love poems, which are fresh, natural, naive and straightforward in style, showing the spirit of bold rebellion against traditional feudalism and secularity, and are also mature in art. In 1923, another collection, Songs of Spring, was published, which can arouse the innocence and enthusiasm of a new generation.
