2. Original text

Recover the north and south of the Yellow River

The news of this distant western station! The north has been recovered! At first, I couldn't stop crying on my coat.

Where are my wife and son? There is not a trace of sadness on their faces. However, I packed my books and poems crazily.

On a green spring day, I began to go home, singing my songs loudly and drinking my wine.

Come back from this mountain, pass another mountain, go up from the south and then go north-to my own town! .

3. Translation

Outside Jiannan, I suddenly heard that loyalists had recovered Henan and Hebei. I was so happy that my clothes were wet with tears. Looking back, I wonder where my wife and children have gone. I rolled up the book casually, and I was almost crazy with joy. On this sunny day, I can't help singing and drinking, and I can accompany me all the way back to my hometown in spring. I'm going to cross the Wuxia gorge from the dam immediately, and then go straight to Xiangyang to Luoyang.
