New poetry writing guidance

There is a flower on the roadside, and you are moved and think of the loveliness and respectability of life. You write it down, this is a poem:

On the rocky road/there is a small flower floating/They return the stone's cold reception with a golden smile//They believe/Finally the stone will sprout/Rough smile/Show good teeth between sunshine and shadow.

── (Fei Ming "Little Flower's Faith")

Can you believe it? Man is a born poet. Because no one can't be moved, no one has no dreams, no one doesn't want to express his feelings in the most appropriate way, no one can't say what he loves and feels with the help of language, and no one doesn't like music. Emotion, imagination, expressive skills, language and rhythm are the five elements of poetry.

So how can we write a poem well? The process of writing poetry is a process of learning and a process of tempering life.

First, learn to be moved and learn to think about life.

The universe presents us with the same thing, the same color and the same shape. Poets can extract poems from them because they have a sensitive heart and a thinking brain. Flowers have no ideology, but Fei was moved by the blooming of flowers, and saw the flowers smiling, the flowers returning to the stone, the rough smile of the stone and his kind teeth. I can see the harmony and beauty of nature and think of smiling at everything, whether it is cold or cold. This is an attitude towards life, an optimistic attitude towards life, which is attributed to his good ideas.

Sensitive people can see the footsteps of spring in the breeze; Can hear the songs of nature in the rustling drizzle; You can see the power of silence on the rocks hit by the waves; You can see the passage of time in turning pages and running water. Therefore, to learn to write poetry, we must first learn to be moved and think; When you look at the sea, you can feel the breadth of your mind; When climbing a mountain, you can feel the hardships and joy of success; When you look at the moon, you can think of the homesickness of the poet when singing songs about the moon; And when you look at chrysanthemums, you can think of that kind of nobility that is not afraid of autumn cold. We should be able to think of the true meaning of life behind the scenes of ordinary people and things: when we see the lotus in full bloom and form the lotus root, we can think of what life should leave after our own journey; Seeing the wind blowing fine sand to smooth the footprints, I can think that years can smooth the wounds of the soul; Seeing the phoenix flowers blooming in the quiet courtyard, we can think of the burning of life and the forging and rebirth of life in the fire; When you get a ticket for departure or return, you can think that life has many starting points and ending points. For example, in a locust leaf, Ji Xian saw the shadow of his hometown in a "thin, dry and grayish yellow" locust leaf. The wanderer's deep homesickness is evoked by this leaf, and a feeling of falling leaves has spread from the heart to the paper.

Second, be good at association and fly the wings of imagination.

To turn your thoughts into beautiful lines, you need to use association and imagination. Poetry takes implication as beauty, writing as writing and praise as praise, and poetry loses its meaning of existence. The content of poetry must be able to go from here to there, from outside to inside, from form to spirit. Therefore, learning to write poetry should start with cultivating one's ability of association and imagination. When you see a thing, you can look for something related to it, whether it is the appearance or the essence. For example, seeing the circle can be associated with the moon, the sun, moon cakes, apples, oranges, ancient wells, coins, balls, mirrors, auras and other specific things, as well as family reunion, life cycle, happy endings and dreams. Another example is the lotus leaf, which can be associated with umbrellas and skirts, then the warmth of home, the care of mother, the girl in the green skirt, the green boat and so on. For example, in Sons of the Earth, Li Guangtian associates the land with the arms of babies and mothers, concretizing and visualizing the warmth and gentleness that the earth gives children. Another example is Yu Guangzhong's poem "Wind chimes". The wind chimes hanging on the eaves of seven floors are linked with his own heart, and then he imagines that the heart is "knocking a person's name" through the sound of wind chimes. Expressed his yearning for people far away. Another example is "Variations on the Stars" by the river: "Who doesn't want to be a poem every day/every word is a star/like a bee quivering in his heart." The stars in the sky touched the poet's feelings and his heart trembled. He thought of poetry and the flutter of bee wings. I wrote about the fluctuation of my inner feelings.

Imagination in poetry is generally based on association. For example, the river's Variations on the Stars wrote: "Who doesn't want to be a poem every day/every word is a star/like a bee quivering in his heart?" The stars in the sky touched the poet's feelings and his heart trembled. He thought of poetry and the flutter of bee wings. I wrote about the fluctuation of my inner feelings.

Third, flexible use of a variety of expressions.

In language, association and imagination are mostly realized by rhetorical means such as parallelism, personification and metaphor. Parallelism can increase the thickness and momentum of poetry and help the author fully express his feelings. For example, in Ai Qing's "Dayan River-My Nanny", parallelism is widely used to express the gratitude to the wet nurse Dayan River. Personification can enrich the image of poetry and enhance the artistic expression of poetry. For example, Shao Yanxiang's "To the Air" is anthropomorphic throughout. "You gently hiss my cheek/allow me to take the wet and salty sea breeze/the green air of the forest and grass/until I walk on the free street/the street lamp shines on the weeping willow/I suspect it is the scenery and props/you blow the fragrance of lilacs to me." Write about the tenderness of the air and the poet's beautiful feelings about the world around him. Metaphor can make poetry more vivid and full of aura. Ji Xian's "The Leaves of Sophora japonica Fall Like a Cicada" not only depicts the lightness of fallen leaves with metaphors, but also evokes people's imagination of beauty.

Fourth, temper a flexible and clean language with great tension.

When you let your thoughts and feelings overflow, it's time to go back and choose your words. Excellent poetic language is full of tension. The so-called tension can arouse readers' infinite reverie with limited vocabulary sentences, leaving readers with a blank space for re-creation. For example, Dai Wangshu's Broken Chapters: "May her gentle eyes awaken the spring grass in my heart." The word "wake up" first reminds our eyes of the blue waves of spring water. The swaying eyes are as exciting as spring water, which makes people happy and comfortable. This kind of happiness and comfort is like spring grass that just wakes up and stretches freely in the spring breeze. How vivid, intriguing and imaginative this word is. In addition, people in contemporary poetry pay more attention to the agility and cleanliness of language. The cleverness and cleanness of words are reflected in the fact that language, like human beings, can embody a kind of wisdom and a transparent texture. How Jiang's Variations on the Stars: "Who doesn't want to have a soft night, as soft as a lake, with fireflies and stars swimming among water lilies?" The word "soft" reflects a sense of texture, and the metaphor of "lake" shows a kind of vigilance. And the artistic conception composed of lake water, fireflies, stars and water lilies is so fresh and pleasant.

Fifth, pay attention to rhythm and rhythm.

Musical beauty is an important feature of poetry. Although new poetry does not require high rhythm, it can make your own poetry feel beautiful and catchy. Isn't this better? Poetry should have musical beauty, and the most important thing is rhyme. The so-called rhyme means that the vowels of the words at the end of the poem are the same or similar. For example, He Jingzhi's Guilin landscape song "How heavy is the water and how heavy is the mountain?" Water surrounds the mountains and Guilin City. Is it a mountain city or a water city? All in the green mountains and green waters. "All bets are on the rhyme, which sounds cadence and harmony. But a poem doesn't have to rhyme, and it can rhyme for a long time. There are many rhymes in He Jingzhi's Guilin Landscape Song. For example: "the god in the clouds, the fairy in the fog, the mountain of Guilin! Love is as deep as dreams, and love is like the water of Lijiang River! "The first two sentences are a rhyme, and the last two sentences are similar rhymes.

The rhythm of poetry should follow the ups and downs of the author's emotions. The external forms of rhythm are lines and broken sentences. The poet's feelings are expressed through poems. A multi-line poem can express feelings incisively and vividly. For example, "Dayanhe-My Nanny" wrote: "She is smiling to wash our clothes, she is carrying a vegetable basket to the frozen pond near the village, she is smiling, she is cutting radishes with ice chips, she is holding a smile, she is pulling out the wheat grains eaten by pigs with her hands, she is smiling, she is fanning the fire in the stew pot, she is smiling and she is back. Praise the nanny's hard work with a multi-line poem. Some poems break a sentence into several parts or lines to express poetic needs. For example, in He Jiang's Variations on the Stars, "If every corner of the earth is full of light/who needs stars/who will stare at the night/seek comfort in the distance/who won't/every day/is a poem/every word is a star/like a bee quivering in his heart. "A few words in a poem can leave more imagination space for readers and have a stronger meaning.

"Petals fall like tears, and lonely birds sing their sorrows." When you are fascinated by the wind and grass, the stars and the running of long rivers in nature, your poetry will be inspired. Why don't you write one yourself? Maybe you really are a poet.
