Song lyrics: Appreciation of the original translation of Xin Qiji's "Qinyuan Chun·Zi Mie Si Bu Zhu"

"Qinyuan Chun·Rebirth of Thoughts and Bu Zhu"

Song Dynasty: Xin Qiji

A stream of water comes from the west, a clear rainbow thousands of feet, and a green screen ten miles away. I am happy that the Thatched Cottage has passed through the years, and I will come back to Du Lao again. The beautiful scenery of Xiechuan will live up to Yuanming. The old crane flies high and stays on a branch, and the smiling snail walks around the house. It's settled, and I'll stay in a very good place, with a thatched pavilion.

The green hills are majestic. It seems that my return is a charming life. Jie Pin teaches flowers and birds, sings in front and dances in the back, and even drives the clouds and water to send them off in the evening and greet them in the morning. A man of wine, saints, and poets may have no power, but I am now in control of you. On the clear stream, I was laughed at by the mountain spirit, and my gray hair returned to the plow.

Translation

A stream comes from the west, and a thousand-foot long rainbow is reflected in the clear sky. Ten miles of green mountains are like an emerald green screen, winding and winding. What makes people like it is that after a year of construction, the thatched cottage is ready. I came to the thatched cottage like Du Fu for the second time. The scenery here is as beautiful as Xiechuan, and it finally lives up to Tao Yuanming, who loves landscapes. I am like an old crane flying high in the sky. I am satisfied with a branch to rest on. I laughed. Some people crawled around the house like snails. I have planned and commented on the buildings in Qisi, and I will find a very beautiful place to build a small thatched pavilion.

The tall and steep green mountains are majestic and full of life, as if to welcome me back, showing a charming and lovely attitude. To relieve my sorrow, I made flowers and birds sing and dance before and after me. It can also urge Yun and Shuimu to send me to the court and welcome me here to play. I am a saint who drinks wine and a hero who recites poems, but I am not an official. I may have lost my power, but I tell the flowers, birds, clouds, and water that I can still command you. I stood on the clear stream, but the mountain god saw me. It laughed at me and said that my hair was white and that I had quit my job and went home to farm.

Appreciation

This poem expresses the author's joy when he returns to the countryside and sees the beautiful pastoral scenery. It expresses what he sees during the period and is very interesting. At the same time, it also expresses the author's joy. There is a hint of emotion behind it.

The upper part of the poem depicts the beautiful landscape of Qisi, indicating the author’s intention to build a house here. Qi Yun took a look at the mountains and rivers of Qisi, and saw that among the mountains surrounded by green screens, a stream of water flowed out from the west, forming a huge waterfall in the mountains, like a thousand-foot white rainbow hanging down from a clear sky. Here, "Cuiping" describes the mountain, showing its beauty, and "Qianzhang Qinghong" describes the waterfall, turning movement into stillness and power into beauty. And there is still enough momentum in the United States and China. The geographical environment of the small mountain village of Qisi is described as majestic and beautiful, revealing the author's great joy. The rhyme begins with the word "xi", leading to a contrasting "fan facing", directly indicating one's likes. The author uses Du Fu's joy at being able to return to his beloved Chengdu thatched cottage after the chaos, and Tao Yuanming's praise of Xiechuan when he lived in seclusion in Chaisang to express his similar feelings. The author's frustration at being dismissed from office cannot be seen from this, which shows that the author has a different mentality from the last time he was dismissed, and seems to have no nostalgia for the "tasteless" part of officialdom. "The old crane flies high and settles on a branch." The smiling snail Dai Wuxing uses a richly emotional comment to show that he is like the old crane and is content with the situation. He can stay at home on a branch and have a broad-minded attitude towards life. Comparing it to a snail that walks around in a house and is burdened by material things shows the stupidity of those who refuse to relieve themselves of material burdens. This sentence comes from the description of the beauty and joy of early thoughts mentioned above, and at the same time it also lays the foundation for the following "divination and construction". The last sentence highlights the meaning of Bu Zhu in a positive light.

The next part uses personification to describe the author’s pleasure in expressing his love for the landscape. The writing blends in with the scenery, the imagery is vivid and the writing is powerful. The next two sentences, which are connected to the first sentence "Ten Miles of Green Screen", always describe Qingshan's welcome to his return. The author endows Qingshan with human character and emotions, saying that this tall Qingshan was originally high-spirited and unconventional, but now it looks charming in order to welcome him back. The following uses the word "jie" and holds a fan facing it to express the charm of Qingshan. It is said that Qingshan knows how to drive flowers, birds, clouds and water, and the author frequently sings and dances in front of him, sending him off and greetings in the evening, and is so diligent and warm that he can make himself happy and forget his worries. The writing here is flexible and the mood is charming. Originally, the author liked the scenery in the mountains and was very happy to see the flowers singing, birds dancing, clouds and water coming and going. However, he turned it around and described it from the perspective of the green mountains. In the next sentence, the author feels relaxed and happy to be welcomed by the beautiful mountains and waters, and the passion to control them arises spontaneously. The poet said: As a poet and poet, how can I not have "power"? Since you, Qingshan, are so affectionate to me, I will control you from today on. Here, the author prides himself on being a master of wine, poetry, and master of landscapes, showing his magnanimity. However, the author's self-proclaimed master of the landscape also implies the desolation of having nothing to do and only being able to control the landscape with all his talent. The ending changes from the elation of the previous article to the self-mockery of the mountain spirit, laughing at the frustration of accomplishing nothing and returning to farming with gray hair. The happy and joyful tone of the previous civilization produced an unexpected ups and downs, hinting at the author's frustration and frustration.

The whole poem expresses emotions impromptuly, pointing out the mountains and rivers, and cleverly uses metaphors and personification techniques to create a majestic, charming and compatible artistic conception, with a bold and heroic style.

Extended reading: Xin Qiji’s anecdotes and allusions: the meeting of famous people

Ehu Mountain, Lingshan, Boshan and other places are places where Xin Qiji often went to search for ancient times and seclusion. Ehu Temple at the foot of Ehu Mountain is next to the ancient post station leading to Fujian.

From the third to the eighth day of the sixth lunar month in 1175, scholars Zhu Xi, Lu Zuqian, Lu Jiuling, Lu Jiuyuan and others held the "Ehu Meeting" (the first Ehu Meeting) of Chinese philosophy at Ehu Temple. As a result, Goose Lake has become a cultural attraction. Xin Qiji often went to E Lake to relax.

In the autumn of 1188, Chen Liang wrote to Xin Qiji and Zhu Xi, and made an appointment to discuss the unification plan at Zixi in Qianshan. But later, Zhu Xi declined the Qianshan meeting for some reason. In the winter of this year, when it was time to meet, Xin Qiji was ill in bed, resting in Laoquan and waiting for Chen Liang. In the evening, it was clear after the snow, and the sunset reflected the snow-capped land. Xin Qiji looked far away from the railing of Laoquan Villa and saw Chen Liang riding a big red horse on the post road in front of Qisi Village. He was overjoyed and his illness disappeared.

Go downstairs and ride your horse to greet you. The two met again on the stone bridge in front of the village after a long absence, and were full of emotions: standing on the stone bridge, bathing in the clear sunset after snow, they talked about state affairs, and were heartbroken over the incomplete Jin Mau. Patriotism surged in their chests, and they drew their swords to kill their mounts, swearing an alliance. The struggle to unify the motherland continues. In "Congratulations to the Bridegroom, Seeing Peace with the Same Father, and Replying to Him in Rhyme" written after farewell to Chen Liang, Xin Qiji shouted, "A man's heart is as strong as iron until he dies. Let's try his hand and mend the cracks in the sky." It is this kind of heroic ambition portrayal.

The meeting between Xin Qiji and Chen Liang, where they had a drink in Laoquan, traveled together in E Lake, exchanged long songs, discussed world affairs, and stayed for more than ten days before saying goodbye, has become a good story in the literary world. In order to commemorate these two patriots, later generations called this meeting the second "Ehu Meeting", and called the stone bridge in front of Qisi Village "Zhanma Bridge", and built Zhanma Bridge next to the bridge. pavilion. To this day, the story of Xin Qiji and Chen Liang's "killing horses to form an alliance" is still circulated in the local area. The Zhanma Pavilion is still there. Although it has experienced wind and rain, there are still many glazed tiles with the words "Zhanma Pavilion" covering it. It is a cultural relic protection unit in Qianshan County.
