God’s thoughts towards man
The frequent disasters today are God’s punishment for man. But let’s look at what God Himself says: “I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for peace and not for disaster, so that you may have hope in the end.” (Jeremiah 29:11) God Love the world more than the love of a loving mother on earth, said Zion, The LORD has forsaken me, the Lord has forgotten me. How can a woman forget her suckling child and not have pity on the son she has given birth to? Even if there is forgetfulness, I "I will not forget you." (Isaiah 49:14-16) The Lord Jesus also left the promise of peace to us. He said: "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; I give you no peace." "Let not your hearts be troubled, nor be afraid, as the world has given you." (John 14:27) The Lord loves us more than a hen loves her chicks (Luke 13:34, 35) God does not want the death of even the wicked. "As I live," declares the LORD, "I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but in the fact that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn back, O house of Israel, turn from your evil way; why should you die?" "(Ezek. 33:10, 11) We can also see the Lord Jesus' love for us from the fact that the Lord wept three times for mankind (John 11:32-36, Luke 19:41-44, Heb. 5:7-9) Infinite love
3. The destiny of mankind depends on repentance
The Bible tells us that God is the potter and we are the clay. God has the right to do whatever he wants with us, but God allows us Choose your own destiny. God says, "Whenever I speak of a nation or a nation (or a person), to uproot, to pull down, to destroy. If that nation (or that person) of which I speak turns from their evil, I will repent and do not bring upon them the evil that I will do.” (See Jeremiah 18:1-10.) For God “is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9). >
We can see from the examples of Jacob, David, Peter and Saul, Achan, Judah, etc. that they all committed sins, but the results were very different. The problem is that Jacob, David and Peter truly repented and were forgiven by the Lord. None of the latter truly repented. So the fate of mankind depends on true repentance.
Today is the time to repent and convert
The Lord Jesus said, "Unless you repent, you will all perish in this way." After that, he used a parable to say, "A man has a tree. The fig tree was planted in a vineyard, and he came to the tree looking for fruit, but could not find it. So he said to the gardener, "Look, I have been coming to this fig tree for the past three years looking for fruit, but I couldn't find it." Just cut it down. Why occupy the land in vain?" The gardener said, "Lord, keep it this year until I dig out the soil around it and add dung. If it bears fruit in the future, I'll do it. Otherwise, cut it down again." . '" (Luke 13:5-9)
The Lord Jesus did not explain the final result in this parable. The result is for everyone who hears this parable. Whether the irrevocable sentence "or cut it off" comes to people depends entirely on themselves.
This warning has been from the days of the Lord Jesus until now. Are we this tree that bears no fruit? Over the years, the grace of the Lord Jesus has been on us like the sun and rain and dew tending and nourishing the fig tree. Have we failed His upbringing and expectations and still bear no fruit?" So, Repent and convert, so that your sins may be blotted out, and times of refreshing will come from the presence of the Lord, who will send you Christ Jesus." (Acts 3:19, 20)
Satan knows that he has little time and is making a desperate struggle. He is like a "roaring lion, prowling around, looking for someone to devour."
"(1 Peter 5:8) How many people perish every day due to natural and man-made disasters, because they do not repent and are robbed of their life and freedom by Satan
