Fan Chengda is famous for his literature, especially his poems. Which dynasty did he come from?

"Four sons of Zhongxing" in Southern Song Dynasty

Fan Chengda (1126-1193), a native of Wu Jun (now Suzhou, Jiangsu), was named Shihu lay man. Together with Yang Wanli, Lu You and You Mao, they are also known as the "Four Masters of Zhongxing" in the Southern Song Dynasty.

Fan Chengda's works had a great influence at that time, especially in the early Qing Dynasty, and there was a saying that "Jiannan is home to the lake" ("Jiannan" refers to Lu You's "Jiannan Poetry Draft"). His poems are light in style, but easy to learn. Sixty pieces of Miscellaneous Poems of Four Seasons in his later years are his representative works, and Qian Zhongshu called them "masterpieces of China's ancient pastoral poems" in Selected Notes on Song Poetry. He is also a famous ci writers, and maybe a geographer. Many works have been handed down, such as Shihu Poetry, Shihu Ci, Gui Lu, Lu, Wu Lu and Wu Junzhi.
