Xiaoshuijing Choir is composed of more than 50 Miao farmers living in the mountainous area of Fumin County, Yunnan Province. At the China Western Chorus Art Festival hosted by the Chinese Chorus Association in 2003, this group of Miao young men and women conquered the judges and audiences from Beijing and western provinces with a mixed chorus "Hallelujah" and won the first prize of the young and middle-aged group.
After the music festival, they successively participated in the CCTV Youth Song Competition, Nie Er Music Festival, the 20th Beijing Music Festival and the Guangzhou New Year Concert, and won the isaac stern Prize-Humanistic Spirit Award. Representative works include Dripping Stream and Cloud Chasing the Moon.
