About the author: Zhou Tao, formerly known as Zhou Xiaotao, was born on March 5th, 1946, and is a famous poet and essayist in China. He is the author of poetry anthology "Mountain", "Wild Horse", prose anthology "Horse in Gones", and prose anthology of Halashar. Born in Shanxi, he was enlightened in Beijing, and the teenager moved to Xinjiang with his father. 1969 graduated from the Chinese Department of Xinjiang University and is now the workshop director of Xinjiang Military Region.
