The expressive technique of pun poetry

Rhetorical devices commonly used in poetry. It is intended to make a word or a sentence express two meanings at the same time, and the word here is another meaning, which makes the language of the poem humorous, profound, implicit and intriguing. Puns can be divided into three categories: ① Puns with the same word. That is, using the same words to form a pun. Such as: "I lost my pride, Yang Jun lost the willow,/Liu Yang went straight to the sky with embarrassment." The "willow is light and embarrassing" here literally means catkins flying lightly, which actually symbolizes the rising loyalty of the martyr Yang Liuer. 2 homophonic pun. Also known as homophonic pun, that is, using the same or similar phonetic relations to form a pun. Such as: "The river is green and green,/I listen to Langjiang songs. /The sunrise in the east and the rain in the west,/Tao is ruthless but affectionate. " On the surface, it refers to the change of the weather, but in fact, it describes the love between young men and women, and the whole poem blends scenes. ③ Semantic pun. In other words, puns are formed by using semantically similar relationships. For example, "people told me/the power was cut off because of the strike/it was the third day/the employers and employees stopped negotiating/were trapped in the dark". On the surface, Paris is "dark" because of power failure, but in fact, it is the darkness of capitalist Paris.
