Nature is a luxury for the people of Changde. Yu Qiuyu said that Liuye Lake is a luxury for Changde people.
Changde people have always been proud of having mountains and rivers, livable and civilized. Perhaps more outsiders know Changde from the Peach Blossom Spring, or from the vastness of Liuye Lake.
In fact, there is another mountain, Sun Mountain, which is also unique. It may not be known to outsiders, but it is a forest garden, leisure and fitness place that Changde people often visit.
"On the Hanren Mountain by the Qinren River, thousands of trees tower into the sky. It is cold in June. I wrote this in Tang Xiu's collection of poems. The old monk wanted to draw a picture to look at it." This was written by Zhou Bi, a great poet of the Song Dynasty, when he visited the Sun Mountain in Changde. Down.
The main peak of Taiyang Mountain in Changde City is the last peak extending eastward in the Wuling Mountains, close to Liuye Lake, the largest lake in Chinese cities.
I have climbed Sun Mountain many times. Each time, the route is different, the distance is different, the time is also different, and the number of people on each climb is also different. I have climbed Sun Mountain from three starting points, and also circled the front and back mountains.
One morning, we climbed up to Sun Mountain again, the sun was shining brightly. I thought I had arrived early, but I found that many middle school students had already come down the mountain. There were a lot of people, and there were many large cars parked on the roadside.
However, by the time we started climbing, there were not many people. Along the way, we discovered several characteristics among the personnel: First, we discovered that there were outsiders from Changsha, Sichuan, etc. Second, I feel that most of the people who climb mountains are women and children.
After several mountaineering trips, I have some doubts. I wonder if anyone who has climbed Sun Mountain has ever had such doubts? Or can anyone solve these doubts?
1: Why can we enjoy the name of Sun Mountain?
Sun Mountain is a rather famous name. Think about this world, there is only one "sun". Although it is not just this mountain in Changde City that is called Sun Mountain.
But it is not easy to use the name "sun".
Since Tianbao of the Tang Dynasty, there have been two versions of the name of Taiyang Mountain, one is Yangshan and the other is Liangshan. In this regard, Yang Sichang, the chief minister of the cabinet in the late Ming Dynasty, as a Changde native, conducted a textual research by citing scriptures in his "You Liangshan Ji". He said: "I checked the county annals and said it was Yangshan. At first, the god of Yangshan was worshiped, and he was paired with Liang Song, and then it was named Liangshan. There is no evidence for this." This passage has four meanings: First, it was passed by him According to local chronicles, it is confirmed that the original name of this mountain is Yangshan; secondly, people have worshiped the god of Yangshan here for a long time; thirdly, it was called Liangshan after Liang Song of the Han Dynasty was allowed to enjoy the Yangshan Temple; especially Yang Gong believed that even because of Liang Song There is no basis for changing the name to Liangshan.
And I also found a text in the mural of Taiyang Mountain, which said "The Emperor of Zhou bestowed the name Yangshan."
So, what are the considerations behind the name Sun Mountain, or Yang Mountain?
The reputation of "The King of Good Juan Rang" has made Changde's "virtue" famous all over the world. Therefore, the cultural spirit of virtue is also something Changde people are proud of.
2: Why was the incense in Taiyangshan Temple so prosperous in history?
It is said that Taiyang Mountain was once a famous Buddhist and Taoist cultural center.
Since the Eastern Han Dynasty, there have been many temples and Taoist temples around Taiyang Mountain. The more famous ones include Bailu Temple, Liangwang Palace, Yangshan Temple, Xingguo Temple, Lingquan Temple, Chongqing Temple and more than 30 temples. At its peak, the incense was extremely strong. There were more than 120 temples and halls in a radius of 20 miles. It was known as "48 temples and 72 thatched nunneries". It was a rare religious and cultural center in the country at that time.
Today, there should not be so many temples on Sun Mountain or nearby, although I don’t know the specific data.
Thinking about it back then, such a prosperous religious culture was definitely not a simple matter. What cultural secrets are there? Has anyone solved it?
3: How many pavilions are there on the Sun Peak?
There are many routes in Sun Mountain. Pass by Pangu Square and then walk along the Ridge Trail, walking on the narrow back of the mountain with cliffs on both sides. Such beautiful scenery can probably only be seen in Huashan, although it is not as steep as Huashan.
Once, a few of us walked from the Jiling Trail to Duwo Pavilion. Many tourists may not visit this pavilion often, because it is another mountain peak. Although it is not particularly high, it is still quite tiring after going up and down several times.
Interestingly, when we walked to this pavilion, we met several female tourists. As a result, I stood at the pavilion and looked forward, and found two pavilions in front of me.
We couldn't help but exclaimed that this mountain is endless, but there is a pavilion in front of it. At this time, a female tourist said that she heard that there were seven more pavilions going forward. She said that she had walked past three pavilions and did not dare to go any further.
To be honest, I don’t know how many pavilions there are on this Sun Peak? If we keep going forward, how far will it be? I don’t know if anyone has walked through it?
4: Where do the three Guinness records of Sun Mountain come from?
In front of the Sun Mountain mural, you can see a stone tablet with the inscription "The Best of Guinness in the Big World". The first is the oldest Chu people worshiping natural sun statues. The second is the Pangu Seated Statue, which is the stone statue built with the most native stone. The third is the longest group of cliff stone carvings - Sun Mountain Mural.
As for the sun god statue, I have gone up the mountain several times, but I have never seen it, or I may have seen it, but I really didn’t pay attention to it.
Regarding the Pangu seated statue, it is indeed quite shocking, and the hundreds of family surnames on the murals, as well as some humanistic and historical stone carvings, are really not easy.
How were these Guinness tops created back then?
5: How many literati and celebrities have climbed Sun Mountain?
Can a mountain or a lake be famous? Aura? It is often linked to humanities.
Why is West Lake so famous? Apparently it's not just her scenery that's beautiful. And it may be more about her literary spirit and aura. Thinking about Su Dongpo, Bai Juyi, and even the fictional White Snake later, it is very extraordinary.
I remember that I once ran down the mountain from the top of Mount Tai. I was in a hurry all the way, and I discovered that one of the biggest features is that many celebrities and writers have climbed Mount Tai.
Whether it is Taiyang Mountain or Liuye Lake, it is difficult to have such "qi". Even with the added charm of "German" culture.
However, this time, we can also trace the footsteps of some celebrities and literati. For example, Zhou Bida and Yang Sichang have been mentioned above.
Of course, there is also Liu Yuxi, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty. He was once demoted to the Sima of Langzhou (now Changde). He went to Taiyang Mountain for six years and was intoxicated by the scenery of the mountain and temples. He flourished in poetry and wrote a poem: "The captain of the Han family used to conquer the south, and his blood is now worthy of this mountain. The winding cover is deep under the green pines, and the cave is full of green screens. The myths are passed down by the bushes and witches, and the wild old people are drunk. The sun sets outside the gate of the Fengchen Temple. How many people can step on bamboo and sing songs?"
I just don’t know, which other literati and celebrities have climbed Sun Mountain?
6: Will Sun Mountain tourism services be expanded in the future?
It should be said that the infrastructure conditions of Sun Mountain have improved a lot in recent years, especially the road leading to Sun Mountain Peak is well built, so many tourists drive their private cars directly to the top of the mountain. It's just a mountain road with eighteen turns, so you need to be extra careful when driving.
However, vehicles usually park on the side of the road, occupying at least one lane. When there are many cars, congestion may occur.
At the top of the mountain, there are also several spots providing snacks and catering services.
It can be said that Taiyang Mountain is not only a place for leisure and fitness for Changde citizens, but also a place where many units and schools often hold expansion activities. Coupled with the beautiful countryside and Liuye Lake at the foot of the mountain, it is really A beautiful picture.
So, is it possible for Taiyang Mountain to expand its service projects in the future?
