Understand the Bible in seconds - Exodus 26 - Facing the sea, the road opens in the warm spring

Last time we talked about how God had just led the Israelites out of Egypt, but Pharaoh, the latter, stopped and went to pursue the Israelites himself. Seeing the Red Sea in front of him and the pursuers behind him, Moses asked God, and God said, "Command the Israelites to move forward."

Moses said that not many of them have deep water certificates. Who will fish them out now?

God said I asked you to take them into the water? Moses said that going forward is the Red Sea, isn't it? God says there is clearly a high road before you! Is your navigation not updated? Stretch out your cane!

Moses followed the instructions and stretched out his staff toward the Red Sea.

In an instant, the sky changed drastically.

The east wind suddenly rose, and the huge pillar of cloud that was originally in front of the Israelites turned behind them, completely separating the Israelites from the Egyptian pursuers. One side is pitch black, the other side is bright. The Egyptian soldiers stopped their horses one after another. Look at me and look at you. No one dared to go any further.

In just one night, this pillar of cloud and fire separated darkness and light.

With the hurricane of more than 300 levels, the sea water was gradually receded until the entire sea surface was separated, and a road suddenly appeared in the middle of the sea.

When Moses took the Israelites to the sea and walked on dry land, crabs, clams, and shrimps were everywhere. Look at these two sides, there are two high walls made of sea water. Blue whales, killer whales, and sperm whales are grinning at the Israeli people, but they can't get out.

The Israeli people were trembling with fear, their ankles and ankles were twisted, they were stunned and trembling, how could they still move? Moses urged them, hurry up, hurry up!

So these two million people crossed the Red Sea from the dry land in the middle of the sea.

To put it simply, when they left, the Israelites had been walking all night.

Seeing the sky turning white, the Egyptian soldiers got the chance to catch up. But before they could catch up, God looked at the Egyptian army from the pillar of cloud and fire. The well-trained, sturdy and brave Egyptian army immediately became confused, and the wheels of the chariots fell off one after another.

The Egyptians panicked and shouted, "Let's retreat quickly, the God of the Israelites is attacking us!"

God said you want to run away? Where to run? Moses, stretch out your staff again.

Moses stretched out his staff like this again, and something terrible happened. The sea water began to close, and the towering water walls on both sides collapsed instantly. Didn’t the Egyptians pursue the Israelites? The Israelites have reached the other side, but where are these Egyptian soldiers? Neither forward nor backward, we are right in the middle of the Red Sea.

By daybreak, the Red Sea has been reconciled as before.

Not a single Egyptian soldier who had gone into the sea was left behind, and they all drowned in it. Did anyone say that none of the Egyptian soldiers could swim? That's not true, they didn't drown because they couldn't swim, their cause of death was even more horrific.

The "Bible Exodus" records, "When the Egyptians fled to avoid the water, the Lord overthrew them in the sea."? If God did not let them return alive, the world champion in swimming would also be exhausted. in the sea.

The shocked Israeli people looked at the calm Red Sea in front of them. They were in a trance, and they were collectively confused there. Some people are still asking: Second brother, I seem to remember that the sea parted last night and I walked through it? Am I dreaming? The person said: Why do I have the same illusion as you? Someone nearby understood and said, "How did you get here if you didn't come from the sea?" Flying here?

The two brothers thought about it, and it made sense, but why did it feel so unreal?

At this moment, the waves pushed the corpses of Egyptian soldiers onto the shore one after another.

Only then did the Israelites wake up. It was true that God opened the Red Sea and rescued them from the palm of the Egyptians again. They could not help but be in awe of Jehovah God, and this time they finally believed in God and His choice. leader Moses.

However, who would have imagined that the vast majority of the Israelites who had personally experienced God’s incomparable power of salvation still did not reach their destination in the end.

What's going on? Let’s talk next time.
