cultural relic

There is a treasure of the town temple in South Shaolin Temple, which is the natural Damobi. This is a piece of jade. After polishing, the Dharma statue naturally appears and is regarded as the treasure of the town temple by South Shaolin Temple. At the beginning of Qing Dynasty, Qing soldiers besieged South Shaolin Temple and burned it for three days and nights. Only five monks escaped, that is, the first five ancestors, one of whom was called Da Zong, whose stupa site was on the Tashi hillside of Linshan Village. As a result, Nanquan in South Shaolin has been widely spread and carried forward, which has had a great influence on several southern provinces and Southeast Asia.

After the burning of South Shaolin, the people who fled in a hurry did not take away Damobi, the treasure of the town temple, and were lost in the ruins of South Shaolin. Time flies, 1969, a Hong Kong native, according to his teachers' word of mouth, said that Damobi in South Shaolin was probably still in the ruins of South Shaolin, so he quietly came to Linshan Village, dug everywhere, and finally dug to a depth of more than 2 meters. He brought Damobi to Hong Kong.
