Meng Man's Lecture on Ancient Poetry Download

Tonight, the night falls in the ancient city, and the lights are flashing. Although it is early autumn, the summer heat has not completely faded, but it has not stopped people who love poetry from flocking. At this moment, a group of people are on their way to the high-tech zone "Macchiato Cafe". The 30th "Poetry Ark" will be held here as scheduled at 8 o'clock tonight, and "Cafe Macchiato" will become "Cafe Macchiato" again.

At 7: 30 pm, nearly 20 people, including Mr. Jing, the founder of "Poetry Ark", Mr. Tian He, a famous poet and professor of North China Electric Power University, Mr. Zhao Fenghua, a poet Nan Xiangzi, and a number of literary friends who met for the first time, arrived one after another and gathered in this poetic cafe in the north of the city to read poetry, drink tea, communicate with each other and listen to Mr. Tian He's poetry lecture.

The coffee shop is swaying with faint and soft lights, and the soothing music is spinning gently in the ear. Several calligraphy works hanging on the four walls of the coffee shop add a touch of strong cultural charm to the coffee shop. Near eight o'clock, the poet Heima, the novelist Beiyan, the young poet Zi Ming and the beautiful poet Zhang Jie also came from Qingyuan.

This "Ark of Poetry" was presided over by the Baoding poet Nanxiangzi and the beautiful woman Jumping Fish. The first link is free reading. Zhang Jie, a beautiful woman writer from Qingyuan who just attended the 6th Hebei Youth Poetry Conference, shared several poems she created and sincerely asked everyone to put forward different opinions, thus reflecting the author's persistent pursuit of her own poems. Teacher Nanxiangzi, a poet, fully affirmed Jason's works, saying that the author's poems are fresh in writing, soothing in language and simple in style, which can be called picturesque in poetry.

Mr. Heima, one of the founders of Four monsoon rains magazine, recited his poem "Samsara", and many literary friends couldn't help chanting along with Mr. Heima's passion. Teacher Zhen Guangming, a writer, also improvised a poem "Looking at the railing" specially written for a literary friend to share with you. However, we can see from it that Mr Zhen, who is almost puzzled, has always maintained the creative passion of young people with an eternal young heart, and his talents are surging, which makes people gasp in admiration. Under the unanimous proposal of Nan Xiangzi and Teacher Heima, I came here to study. I didn't prepare my work, so I temporarily chose a poem "Afternoon" from Four monsoon rains magazine to share my wishful talent with you. Young poets Zi Ming and Hou Sheng recited poems by Bai Shuang and Zhao Ying respectively, while beautiful girls recited poems by famous poet Tian He.

Teacher Jing explained in detail the individual differences and gender relations between old-style poems and new-style poems. William Butler Yeats William Butler Yeats (1865 ~ 1939), an Irish poet, playwright and famous mystic, has translated this exquisite poem When You Are Old into 12 versions. Mr. Jing, a former English teacher, recited the English version of When You Are Old for everyone. With standard pronunciation, magnetic voice and peaceful tone, we seem to be in the classroom of a university campus in Europe and America in the blink of an eye, quietly listening to the scene of foreign teachers teaching poetry in Chinese class.

In this issue of The Ark of Poetry, Mr. Jing specially invited the famous poet Mr. Tian He as the guest speaker. As for Mr Tian He, many people in the literary circle must know him very well. Although Mr. Tian He is a university professor, chairman of the school trade union, vice-chairman of the Writers Association, a famous writer, poet and scholar, he always gives us the feeling of being so kind and modest, and never feels that he is out of touch with the officialdom. And as always, he keeps his simple and kind mind and pays attention to the social vulnerable groups, which is undoubtedly one of the reasons why his famous poem "Pupils", which describes the bottom of society, is widely read on the Internet.
