The original song "Forget Who I am" was sung by Wang Hailing, and was first included in the album "Golden Melody Award Six" released by Xinge Record 1980 in June. The lyrics were written by Li Ao in prison in order to change some newspapers of 1973 inmates. After he got out of prison, a record company took a fancy to this word and asked someone to compose the music, which was sung by singer Wang Hailing. This was later proved in Li Ao's A Wonderful World.
"Forget Who I am" won the third Golden Rhyme Award individual champion.
