Yao Guangxiao's poem praising Jiangsu in the Yongle Ceremony is "Huai'an Viewing the Ancients". The full text of this poem is:
Jin Wu takes Chu guests to travel many times, and the first state in the southeast is magnificent.
The rivers and mountains are lined up everywhere, and the sky is floating along the Huaihe River.
The crowds at the top of the city frightened the birds and magpies, and the sails at the mouth of the dam were sailing with white gulls.
The hero under the crotch is gone today, and the light smoke and slanting sun make people sad.
This is a poem written by Yao Guangxiao, the famous "prime minister in black" in history, when he returned to Suzhou and passed by Huai'an, praising Huai'an. Huai'an, Jiangsu Province, is known as Jiangsu Province, with magnificent mountains and rivers and picturesque scenery. At that time, the poet Yao Guangxiao came to Chuzhou, visited ancient cities and famous places, and wrote impromptu poems praising Chu. The opening line of the poem is majestic and sonorous, highlighting the special geographical location of Chuzhou. And when he saw the remains of Han Xin, the crotch hero he admired, he showed infinite sadness.
