What kind of person is Kong Rong?

Kong Rong, talented and studious, is as famous as Tao and Chen. During the reign of Emperor Xian of Han Dynasty, he served as the commander-in-chief of the Northern Army, a samurai corps commander and a Beihai country, and was called Kong Beihai. Kong Rong spent six years in Beihai, building a city, setting up a school, promoting talents and showing Confucianism, and made great achievements. Later, he led Qingzhou secretariat.

In the first year of Jian 'an (196), Yuan Tan attacked Beihai, and Kong Rong fought fiercely with it for several months, and finally fled to Shandong. Soon, he was recruited by the court, moved to Shaofu, and served as a doctor in Taizhong. Naturally, he is willing to welcome guests, criticizes current politics, and has fierce words. Finally, in the 13th year of Jian 'an (208), he was killed for angering Prime Minister Cao Cao.

The story of Kong Rong and Li Rang was first seen in Shi Shuo Xin Yu and Continued Han Shu. It is said that when Kong Rong was four years old, he ate pears with his brother, but he always ate the smallest pear. His father asked him strangely, and he replied, "I am a child, so I should take the small one." Kong Rong's family was therefore surprised by him.
