What is the story behind the breakup between Furong Inn and Xin Jian?

"Lotus Inn and Newly-built Parting" was written in the twenty-ninth year after Tang Kaiyuan. Wang Changling left Beijing for Jiangning at that time, which is now Nanjing, and Wang Changling's friend Xin Xian will soon go north to Luoyang via Yangzhou. Wang Changling personally sent him to Runzhou to bid farewell to him in the northwest building, namely Furong Building, and then wrote this poem here. In the poem, Wang Changling saw his friend Xin Xian off at the riverside, which not only expressed the sincere feelings of the poet and his friends, but also expressed the poet's integrity in the world of ice and snow.

Cold rain at night, Wu,

The first two sentences are "cold rain at night, Wu, seeing the guests off." The poet began to write the night before seeing his friend off. The word "cold" in "cold and rain merge into Wu at night" not only points out the late autumn season, but also indicates that friends keep raining at night. "Pingming" means dawn, that is, the next morning. It means that on the night of late autumn in the south of the Yangtze River, the cold wind came to Wudi with continuous autumn rain, which was connected with the river. Early in the morning, I saw off my friend Xin, leaving only loneliness in front of me.

Judging from the writing of these two sentences, first of all, the poet compares love with water, and the continuous night rain creates a sad environment to bid farewell to friends. "River water" means that feelings with friends are as endless as running water. Here, the poet vividly shows the sincerity and profundity of his feelings with his friend Xin. Poets use "flowing water" to express their feelings with water, which is a common expression in ancient poetry and one of the meanings contained in the image of "water".

Secondly, the poet used the technique of empathy. I feel lonely when my friends are far away. When I watched Chushan, I also felt that Chushan was as lonely as me. Poets don't directly write their own loneliness, but write the loneliness of "Chushan", highlighting their own loneliness. Yamamoto is heartless and affectionate, and the heartless person feels lonely. Of course, affectionate people are more lonely. Here you are. Poets express their feelings by borrowing things, which not only shows their deep friendship, but also shows their loneliness after their friends leave.

The last two sentences "Luoyang relatives and friends ask each other, and a piece of ice heart is in the jade pot". "Relatives and friends" refers to the relatives and friends of Wang Changling. "Xiang" here refers to the inquiries of relatives and friends in Wang Changling about Xin Xian. "Bing Xin is in the Jade Pot" comes from Bao Zhao's "White-headed Ode" in the Six Dynasties, which is often used as a metaphor for noble and innocent character. If my relatives and friends in Luoyang ask about my recent situation, you can tell them that I am like an ice heart in a crystal jade pot.

From the perspective of writing methods, the application of inverted sentence skills. The position of these two sentences in the whole poem, according to the conventional logical order, should be placed at the beginning, which is one thing entrusted to Xin Xian by the poet when he left, that is, to report peace to his relatives. Then he wrote about Xin gradually's departure, and there was a scene of "seeing the guests off in peace and leaving Chushan alone". However, the poet wrote it later In this way, it not only highlights the poet's emotional implication, but also enhances the expressive effect and artistic appeal of poetic implication.
