Li Bai's poems on Yelang's exile
Yelang in Nanliu sent Li Zi to live in the Tang Dynasty, and he was resentful and left home in the sky, and there was little news in the bright moon building. The northern geese are eager to see it in the spring, and they can't write a book in the south. Send it from Yelang in Nanliu.
Appreciation:
A Letter from Yelang in the South is a seven-character quatrain written by Li Bai, a poet in the Tang Dynasty. It is the 54th poem in Volume 184 of The Whole Tang Poetry. This poem was written by Li Bai on his way to exile Yelang in the spring of the second year of Su Zonggan Yuan (759).
This poem is sonorous in tone, catchy, and full of scenes. The extremely general language touches on the resentment of Li Bai's lack of talent and career path, and he is exiled because he has been repeatedly rejected by the bad king and his courtiers, and his heart is full of indignation and injustice.
"Yelang in the South", "Yelang beyond the sky", "Leaving home", "My news is sparse" and "Looking forward to Yu Zhangshu" are full of finishing touches, which not only shows the poet's inner frustration and heavy trauma, but also means that people are dying and feel guilty about their wives.
We know that the Zongs still stayed in Jiangxi after Bai's upper class. How can Zongs follow Li Bai instead of accompanying his sister? "South Stream" shows that it is not going back to Jiangxi, but going south.
It was in the spring of the second year of Ganyuan, and according to Volume 84 of the Collection of Imperial edicts of the Tang Dynasty, "Decreasing the Prisoner System by Spring Order": "It is forbidden for prisoners in the world to commit capital crimes from the stream, and all crimes from the stream below", there is a note saying "February of the second year of Ganyuan". It can be seen that Li Bai was exempted from the stream according to this edict, and he was in the Dongting boat at that time, and he had not heard of the imperial edict.
Author's brief introduction: He has the reputation of "Poet Fairy" and is also called "Li Du" with Du Fu.
His poems are mainly lyrical, showing the arrogant spirit of despising powerful people, expressing sympathy for people's sufferings, and being good at depicting natural scenery and expressing love for the mountains and rivers of the motherland.
The poetic style is magnificent and bold, the imagination is rich, the language flows naturally, and the melody is harmonious and changeable, which constitutes its unique magnificent and gorgeous color and reaches the peak of the poetic art in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. There are more than a thousand poems, including 3 volumes of Li Taibai Collection.
