On the cost of deleting and supplementing ancient books

Basic information Li Zhongzi's uncle Shang Ya, whose name is Boan, is a gifted scholar for his younger brother to study. Father Shang Yan, whose real name is Zhenying, was a Jinshi in 1589. He once worked in the Ministry of War and the Ministry of Civil Affairs. My brother is neutral, strong and upright. He was once a Zhejiang examiner, a Sichuan examiner and a right judge of Dali Temple. Brother Zhong Zhixiong, nicknamed Zeng Nian, is a famous scholar and a doctor of medicine. My nephew Yan, formerly known as Yan, was born after I was born and later renamed Yan. Also known as uncle, also known as Lengcun, the name is Man 'an. Master Zi is the author of Supplementary Theory of Medicinal Chemistry (Guide to Drug Differentiation) 14, Collection and Differentiation of Medical Prescriptions and Pulse Prescriptions 10, and Vaccinia Complete Collection.

After reading extensively, Li took the imperial examination when he was young, but later he turned to study medicine because of the pain of his parents being killed by Yong medicine and his early illness. Students attach great importance to the theoretical research of traditional Chinese medicine and learn from others. His discussion of medical theory may be quite simple. Most of the books written are easy to understand, which is the shortest path for beginners to enter the classroom and can be called the most comprehensive set of Chinese medicine textbooks at that time. Therefore, it was widely read in Wuzhong medical field, became a great doctor in Jiangnan in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and made great contributions to the popularization of Chinese medicine.

His achievements are: Essence of Neijing, Explanation of Medicinal Properties, Medical Records 10, Exogenous Fever 2, Herbal Xuan Tong 2, Pathogenesis and Killing Biography 2, Diagnostics 2 and Benefiting Physiology 4. 1667, three books, Diagnostics, Materia Medica Xuan Tong, Pathogenesis and Biography, were called three books of scholars. Li Zhongzi's Medical Records contains more than 50 medical records, regardless of category or title, most of which are intractable diseases of internal medicine. As can be seen from the book, Li is good at pulse diagnosis and syndrome differentiation, with flexible prescriptions and clear case language. It was not published at first, but was later included in Li Yan G's Collection of Pulse Tactics.

A famous disciple of medical education

Li's disciples are mostly Wuzhong doctors, among whom Shen Langzhong, Jiang Shijiyou and others are the most outstanding. As for my disciples, there are still leaves, especially on the right path. On the one hand, he contributed to the establishment of febrile diseases, and on the other hand, he effectively expounded Zhongjing's classics, which further developed Wuzhong medicine.

Learning style

Li's scholarship, learning from others, is not paranoid. He attaches great importance to the relationship between yin and yang, fire and water. It is believed that yin and yang, fire and water are the foundation of all things, and qi and blood are in the human body. Fire and water are inseparable, and their ups and downs and immobility promote the growth and development of all things. In the relationship between fire, water and yin, yin is rooted in yang, and yang is rooted in yin, but regardless of yin and yang, yang is particularly important in life activities. Since yang is so important to the human body, those who are deficient in both qi and blood and yin and yang should first replenish qi and blood, and put forward that "both qi and blood should be paid equal attention, and qi should be supplemented first and blood should be supplemented later; Both yin and yang are needed, and nourishing yang is above nourishing yin. There are many similarities between Li's Chongyang thought and his Chongyang thought. Zhang zhong advocates warming and tonifying kidney yang; Li Zhong tonifies qi and yang. It is precisely because Li attaches importance to two days that his clinical practice starts with spleen and kidney and attaches importance to two days' conditioning. It is often used to treat internal injuries and miscellaneous diseases, such as Buzhong Yiqi Decoction, Sijunzi Decoction, Fuzi Lizhong Decoction, Liuwei Dihuang Pill, Jinkui Shenqi Pill, etc.

Li Zhongzi paid special attention to spleen and kidney in syndrome differentiation of zang-fu organs. He expounded the proposition that "kidney is the foundation of nature and spleen is the foundation of the day after tomorrow" in Required Reading for Medical Zong, which had a great influence on later generations.

Li Zhongzi, a medical theory, believes that the root of seeking treatment is to master the root of life. The foundation of life is nothing more than congenital foundation and acquired foundation. Congenital origin lies in the kidney. "Kidney is the source of viscera, the root of twelve veins, the source of breath, the source of triple energizer, and human resources are the beginning." Kidney essence is full, and viscera essence is sufficient. And vitality is the foundation of all qi. Both the qi of zang-fu organs and the qi of meridians are rooted in vitality. Therefore, in order to save lives, we must protect the essence in the congenital kidney. At the same time, the acquired spleen and stomach are also very important. He said, "You pay, you divide. Stomach-qi failure makes it difficult to apply all kinds of medicine. As soon as you have this body, you are endowed with the spirit of five grains. The spirit of five grains will enter the stomach, spill on the six internal organs and get qi, and be transferred to the five internal organs to generate blood, while human resources think that the living are also. Therefore, the foundation of the day after tomorrow lies in the spleen. " Its basic idea is consistent with Li Dongyuan's understanding that spleen and stomach are the foundation of vitality. In the process of growing up, people always rely on the constant nourishment of Shui Gu's Qi, and the internal organs can only play their functions under the constant nourishment of Shui Gu's Qi. The metaplasia of Shui Gu's Qi depends on the spleen and stomach, so the spleen is very important in human life activities.

Because spleen and kidney are very important in the process of human life activities, Li attaches great importance to the treatment of two-day loss in diagnosis and treatment. It is considered that pulse diagnosis should emphasize stomach, spirit and root. The rise and fall of stomach qi and kidney qi is indeed the foundation of human life. Therefore, pulse diagnosis should pay attention to the rise and fall of stomach qi and kidney qi, which is indeed the most critical point of diagnosis. In terms of treatment, Li Zhongzi accepted the theories of Li Dongyuan, Zhao Xianke and Xue Ji, starting with the spleen and kidney. Therefore, he said in "The Doctrine that Doctors Must Read, Kidney is the Foundation of Innate and Spleen is the Foundation of Acquired": "There is a difference between fire and water in treating the foundation of Innate. If the water is insufficient, we should use Liuwei Pill to strengthen the heat to control the sunshine. If the fire is insufficient, use Bawei Pill to benefit the source of fire to eliminate yin. If you are treated the day after tomorrow, you will be tired. If you get hurt from eating, Zhi Zhu pills will help you solve it. Tired, Buzhong Yiqi Decoction is the main one. " Liuwei and Bawei Prescriptions are the drugs that Zhao Xian can make good use of to tonify kidney and promote fluid production, and Zhi Zhu Pill and Buzhong Yiqi Decoction are Li Dongyuan's wonderful drugs for invigorating spleen and regulating stomach. Xue sent two factions to stay on the ground, and Li admired them very much. Therefore, he said, "Every time you go to fast for treatment, you should use the front one more. People who don't know will discuss its bias, but you must clearly seek the roots before you can get a glimpse of Li Zhai. " Therefore, his treatment of Xue's disease is mainly based on six flavors, eight flavors, immature bitter orange and tonic, and the curative effect is remarkable.

Li Zhongzi pays equal attention to spleen and kidney, which can be said to be a master of previous theories and experiences in treating deficiency syndrome. His scholarship spread from Shen Langzhong to Jing, and they were all influential physicians in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, which was not unrelated to Li's academic influence.

Character evaluation Li Zhongzi pays attention to spleen and kidney management in medical treatment. There is a famous doctor Wang Yutai in Jintan, Jiangsu Province. He is 80 years old and has diarrhea. According to the general medical theory, diarrhea should be supplemented, but the more it is supplemented, the more serious the condition becomes. He asked Nakako for advice. After asking about the source of the disease, Nakako said to him: "You are fat and have a lot of phlegm, and the more you make up, the more you lag." Of course, your illness will not get better. You have to go against its routine and wash it with quick-acting medicine. " Hearing this, Wang praised and said, "Only you and I are doctors in the world. You write the prescription and I'll take the medicine. Any questions! " Zhongzi used croton paste to give the old doctor, and sure enough, he shed a lot of phlegm and recovered.

He paid attention to practice, never stuck to the rules, summed up experience in practice, and studied various incurable diseases. At that time, he was called an imperial doctor. There was a man named Lu Fan, who suffered from a strange disease. On a hot summer day, although the doors and windows were closed, curtains hung on the bed and three mink quilts were covered on his body, he kept shouting cold. After observing the condition, Li Zhongzi was diagnosed as "fever". The ancients used "cold water irrigation" to treat it, but Nakako changed it slightly and took gypsum Sanhu decoction instead. He prescribed three pills, the first one was taken, and the patient took off the mink quilt; After eating the second post, the patient removed the curtain; After eating the third patch, the patient asked to open the doors and windows, only to find that he was sweating and steaming, and his problems were cured. There is also a man named Ju who has a strange disease. At the onset, he was accompanied by a high fever. In nonsense, he can tell what happened outdoors. After repeated experiments and observation by Li Zhongzi, it was diagnosed as "wandering soul" disease. After application, the high fever subsided, delirium stopped, consciousness recovered, and later symptoms disappeared.
