Nanjing University is the only comprehensive art college in Jiangsu Province, and it is also the earliest independent art college established in China and continues to this day. Nanjing University, located in Jinling, the ancient capital of Liu Yuhe, Zhong Ling, is a century-old prestigious school with a long history. Its predecessor was Sanjiang Normal School, which was founded in 1902. Later, he was admitted to Liangjiang Normal University, Nanjing Normal University, National Southeast University, National Fourth Sun Yat-sen University, National Central University, National Nanjing University and other historical periods. 1950 was renamed Nanjing University.
1952, in the adjustment of various departments in the country, Nanjing University jumped ship, agronomy, Normal University founded in 1888, Jinling University and other departments merged, and it was still named Nanjing University. The school site was moved from Sipailou to the original site of Jinda Drum Tower.
