Ambiguous couplet story

It should be like this.

Raise a pig like a mountain, and the mouse will die.

Brewing jars are good for vinegar and acid.

Two reading methods

one

Raise a pig like a mountain, and the mouse will die.

Brewing jars are good for vinegar and acid.

two

Raise a pig like a mountain, and the mouse will die.

Brewing jars are good for vinegar and acid.

There are many modifications. Personally, I think the following can be written here:

Raising pigs is like a big mouse, and there is only one dead end.

The wine is just right, and the vinegar is sour.

Two reading methods

one

Raising pigs is like a big mouse, and there is only one dead end.

The wine is just right, and the vinegar is sour.

two

Raising pigs is like a big mouse, and there is only one dead end.

Just put vinegar in the wine, and the jar is sour.

Similarly,

Zhu Zhishan writes Spring Festival couplets.

Zhu Zhishan, a calligrapher in the Ming Dynasty, was quick in literary talent and made good use of new words.

One day, a rich man named Qian asked him to write a pair of Spring Festival couplets, and he readily agreed.

When he arrived at the rich man's house, he wrote the following Spring Festival couplets for the gate and the gate with a stroke of a pen:

It is unlucky to welcome spring tomorrow.

Less luck and more money all year round.

This place is safe to live in.

He was very sad.

The servant of the rich man put couplets on the gate and the second gate. Everyone laughed when they saw it and said that the couplet was cursed wonderfully.

Unexpectedly, this matter reached the ears of the rich man. The next day, when the rich man walked to the gate and the second gate, he flew into a rage and said angrily, "Zhu Zhishan and Zhu Zhishan, how dare you scold me on New Year's Day." . I want to sue you. Say that finish, let officials take three hundred and twenty pieces of silver to the county magistrate's office.

The county grandfather was bought by the rich man with money and told Zhu Zhishan to go to court to handle the case. The rich man thinks he will win the lawsuit. County grandfather asked, "Zhu Zhishan, on the first day of the New Year, why did you scold him with Spring Festival couplets?" Zhu Zhishan replied, "My Lord, I didn't scold him!"

County uncle angry, said: "you still want to sophistry, Spring Festival couplets are evidence."

Zhu Zhishan argued: That's because he didn't read correctly!

Zhu Zhishan said: Rich people insist on punctuating sentences twice. Isn't this scolding themselves? My Spring Festival couplets have five or three broken sentences and three or three broken sentences. What do you think? Tomorrow will be a good spring-no bad luck all year round-more money; This place is safe-I can live, I'm fine-I'm not sad. What kind of scolding is this?

Zhu Zhishan, the county magistrate, showed his attitude and shouted, "Retreat." The rich man lost the lawsuit, gave three hundred and twenty pieces of silver for nothing, and left the yamen angrily.

Another story

Wang Xizhi's calligraphy is so famous that the Spring Festival couplets posted on him are secretly torn off every year. After this repetition, Wang Xizhi had a brainwave and posted a couplet: "It never rains but it pours". People saw that it was unlucky and didn't tear it, so this couplet was preserved. On New Year's Eve, Wang Xizhi published another half couplet written in advance, completing the original half couplet. When people read it, it was originally written that "the blessing never ends today, but the misfortune never ends last night", and they all admired Wang Xizhi's talent!
