Reflections after reading "How to Understand Calligraphy" (1): A book that is difficult to evaluate

As for the title of the article, in fact, the entire book does not directly address this issue. It seems that when it is discussed, it will give you some answers that cannot be chosen directly. After reading the entire book, I still can’t understand calligraphy. Of course, we have to admit that even appreciation of calligraphy cannot be achieved overnight, and accumulation is still necessary.
This is a collection of essays. It is impossible to directly give me the topic like writing an argumentative essay or an expository essay. However, such a "mistaken" book seems to be a bit deceptive to the author. Of course, the author has actually written something, but it always goes around and around, and the whole book is full of small notes on the content and other kinds of repetition that are annoying.
The layout is extremely poor. I suddenly inserted a picture in the middle of a sentence, then turned over two pages to read it and then came back to look at the picture. This happened N times. The reading experience is better than Zaker
