Why is Yang Mochun’s calligraphy so popular?

There are three reasons why Yang Mochun’s calligraphy works are popular:

1. Professional: He is a professional calligrapher and an accomplished collector. He is a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association. The former executive deputy director of the Art Development Center studied Wang Xizhi and Yan Zhenqing in his early years and was later influenced by them. He is good at the study of cursive rules and list books. He is a research-based calligrapher who dares to break new ground, dare to stand up, and dares to innovate, combining theory and practice.

2. Characteristics: Yang Mochun’s calligraphy techniques are strong, sophisticated and generous in large characters.
